He was staring at me from his side of the seating area. 

I could tell from the corner of my eye.

I wasn't sure if I liked it or if it was just the weight of his stare making me nervous. He was an industry senior, after all. 

"Heh." I chuckled under my breath, thinking about the countless 'seniors' who had tried to make a move on me and/or one of my members.

It was common, really. Seungri-oppa had said it best, K-pop behind the scenes was an animal kingdom. The drama was endless.

A ruffle snapped me back from my thoughts and a shiver crawled down my spine.

His eyes.

It had only really been 5 seconds, but the weight of his stare stayed permanently tattooed to my back. Tingling.

I shifted uncomfortably and took another look to the left. Realizing the boys had moved over further into the row, I bit my lips and quickly averted my gaze when I made eye contact with him. 

A part of me wished we somehow found the opportunity to get to know each other. But maybe even that was too much to hope for. He was an international superstar, when exactly was I expecting to get to know him? It was impossible to meet in person.

That wasn't it though, I would've been happy even if he surprised me with a text. Heck. An insta DM. I had the attention of 11 million people, why not his? 

Taehyung and I have been making eye-contact at every award show we've met at.

It sounds ridiculous but everybody's told me it means he likes me. They say it's how idols "flirt" in plain sight. I still think it's stupid and if true, then utterly unfair. I’m not a mind reader. 

"Oh..BTS must have left to prepare for their performance" Jisoo-unnie was talking to Jennie.

They giggled after exchanging a few more words I didn't catch and I stopped listening. 

I must be in love with him, thinking about him so goddamn much. It was meant to be sarcasm, but part of my thoughts rung true.
