December 19th
Third Time is the CharmVoices were echoing along the hotel corridor, guests hurrying towards the elevators on their way to check out or grab a nice breakfast in the dining hall.
Jaejoong didn't know how much time had passed since Yunho had hurriedly left his room. He sighed, burying his face deeper into the pillow he had shared with Yunho during their sleep. His scent was still lingering in the fluffy object and triggered emotions Jaejoong desperately tried to hold back. He curled into a ball under the duvet with a lump in his throat.
A knock suddenly resounded quickly followed by Changmin's dulled voice, “Are you up already? Our train leaves in about 50 minutes.”
Jaejoong groaned into the pillow. He didn't want to leave his hideout, let alone face the cruel reality awaiting him. Another knock resounded. “Jaejoong?” Changmin's worried tone let him reconsider. He really didn't want the other to burst through his door just because he wasn't in the mood to answer.
He quickly grabbed a clean pair of boxer shorts and threw his old shirt over his head before he strolled over to the door. Changmin frowned at him when he laid eyes on his appearance. “Good morning. I have to tell you, Hyung, you look like .”
He didn't respond to that and simply motioned for Changmin to come inside. Changmin eyed him silently when he hurriedly packed his belongings and got dressed along the way. With a sigh Changmin flopped onto a chair, “You met him again.”
Jaejoong stopped in pulling up his jeans immediately. “I did,” he whispered when he continued to get dressed.
Changmin facepalmed with a deep sigh, “Hach, Jaejoong. What did you get yourself into?” He warily eyed Jaejoong who by now had moved to a small mirror across and combed through his dishevelled hair.
“Seems like complicated love to me,” Jaejoong murmured when he brushed the last strands straight.
“Is there any chance to pull you out of that?” Changmin asked after a while when he had silently watched his friend readying himself to leave.
Jaejoong shook his head with a wary smile. “I'm afraid not. I'm completely under Yunho's spell.”
Changmin's ears perked up immediately. “Oh, so now we have come past the stage of simply exchanging body fluids and actually exchanged something useful for once!”
Jaejoong struck his hand over the back of Changmin's head with an amused snort, “Shut up, nitpicker.”
“You didn't ask for his relationship status though?” Changmin inquired when they hurried towards the elevator to check out and catch their train on time.
“He was in a hurry,” Jaejoong simply mumbled and stayed tight-lipped after that. Changmin refrained from questioning him any further when he registered the sorrowful frown crossing his features. He had once again hit a nerve. Sympethatically he patted Jaejoong's shoulder, “There, there, Hyung. Shall I get you a box of chocolate chip ice cream when we're home or do you prefer the bloodiest horror movie available for rent?”
