Ipswich Abbey Academy had been around for more than 500 years. It had been standing strong, serving as a place to learn for the humans and a safe haven for the Night Creatures. 

Humans thought nothing more of the academy except that it was only an old prestigious boarding school when the fact was, it was more than that. They were oblivious to the fact that they were surrounded by Night Creatures who prey on them. 

Even with their food within an arms reach, the Night Creatures would not be able to harm them. Not if they value their lives, not if they want to die in a gruesome death at the hands of the Nightwalkers. The chosen seven, sworn to protect the academy and humans from any harm. Bounded by an oath to keep the peace and evil at bay.

It was the same old routine for them; patrolling the dark corridors, keeping to the shadows, keeping an eye out for any Night Creatures lurking around humans and preventing from any humans sneaking in into the West wing. There was nothing interesting for them to do.

Until one night, when the moon turned red. That's when they realized that things will change. They could feel it inside them, something ancient, something evil is awakening.
