morning kisses / request
Suspicious RequestsWhen Bong Hee came up to him, intent on getting a kiss, it was painful for Ji Wook to pull back and reject it. Not only that, but the look on Bong Hee’s face when he had avoided it was torturous to look at. He knew he had hurt her, but he couldn’t find it within himself to be at all close to her at that moment, afraid to hurt her even though he was so careful.
The only excuse he could come up with on the spot like that was that he needed to shower, and when he’d turned his back he could hear her soft mutters of saying that the sweat was the best part (which did briefly confuse him, perhaps even disgust him a little but he guessed it was … sort of cute) he couldn’t help but feel even more guilty. So, he didn’t waste any more time and practically sprinted up the stairs. He removes his slippers from his feet and enters the bathroom, shedding the drenched shirt and sweatpants he’d worn for the morning jog, and stepped into the shower quickly.
Allowing the water to simply run over him for a few moments, Ji Wook reaches out for the shampoo that he reminded himself he needed to get more of later on, and squirts some of it onto his hand before quickly rubbing it into his wet hair. He’s content to focus on that for a little while, until he remembers what had happened downstairs with Bong Hee. His hand pauses, and he sighs heavily before shaking his head.
Maybe I shouldn’t have been that harsh on her. None of this is her fault, after all.
Ji Wook sighs, and proceeds to quickly wash his hair. Once he’s done with that, he lets himself stand under the shower for longer. He closes his eyes, feels his chest tighten a little with the fear that Bong Hee would hate him, would stay upset at him for the one reason that he was incapable of handling his emotions well. He
