Melina’s pov

After a month

I open my eyes to a new day. Its Saturday, I don’t have university.  I close them back immediately. Because the pain in my heart comes back as soon as I open my eyes from sleeping. I wake up to a hell every morning since from the last time I heard his words that cut me through:

“Gikwang I’m sorry for not believing you, I was blinded by the thought of her touching you” I say to him who is watching me with angry eyes.

“Melina, if it was you who was in the same situation I would’ve believed your words. But you didn’t even try to listen; you said things that broke my heart badly. I don’t need someone who doesn’t trust me.” he says and walk away.

“ Gikwang don’t do this please” I say to him and he looks back and I can see how hurt his eyes look.

“You don’t trust me, without trust we can’t go on like this, I can’t do this I’m sorry. Good bye” he says soflty but with a hurt voice and walks away and I fall on my knees.

“But I love you Gikwang” I whisper to him but he doesn’t hear because he is already gone…

My tears start forming in my eyes when the last conversation popped into my head one more time. It never leaves my brain.

The rumours were cleared up after Kim Rian was interviewed and after she came to explain everything to me front of the members. But Gikwang and I were never the same after.

“Darling you are up, good, come one lets have breakfast and we are going to Cube building together, you can watch me practise and we can go shopping after.” Says Gina who just walked into the room. She didn’t let me go and stay at my flat and she said she will never let me live anywhere else. She has been supporting me like a real sister and I don’t know how to thank her for that.

“ Unnie I don’t feel like eating anything, let me get ready and we can go” I say to her and she smiles and leaves the room. She doesn’t force me to eat anymore; she understands everything I am going through.

After we are ready we make our way to cube. When we arrive I feel uneasy, knowing he could be here practising too. But I haven’t seen him since the last conversation. He probably forgot my face already. I messed everything up, I did wrong.

We walk into the dance room and my heart skips a beat, I am sure it already stopped when I see the person dancing in front of the mirror. Gikwang is teaching Dongwoon and Yoseob some dance moves. They stop immediately when they see us entering the room.

Gikwang’s Pov

I keep repeating the moves so Dongwoon and Yoseob can learn it. My mood has been really down lately. I can’t control my anger either. It feels like I am not me. Not who I used to be. The happy me.

“ Yaahhhhh why can’t the two of you get this right? It’s really easy” I yell at them and they don’t say anything back. I repeat the dance one more time and they start following my steps. I stop dancing as soon as I see the person who just walked in. it felt like my heart did a back flip in my chest and my body became weak. It’s her. It’s Melina with Gina.

It’s been such a long time. I tried my best not to get in her way. I haven’t seen her for 1 month and 12 hours and 10 minutes since the last time I checked. The feeling in my heart is still the same. It still beats for her beautiful face. How much I wish I could run and hug her and stay like that forever. But I can’t. I messed everything up, I did wrong.

She looks really tired. She looks really thin, thinner than before. The dark circles under her eyes are visible. Her beautiful smile is not on her face anymore. But she still looks beautiful enough to take my breath away. Maybe that’s why my breathing becomes uneasy. She avoids meeting my eyes. Has she forgot about me already?

“Annyeongh! Do you mind having a little company here? I need to practise and she will be watching me.” says Gina greeting us.

“ NOONAAAA!!!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!” screams Dongwoon and run towards Melina and hugs her tight. Yoseob does the same.  Jealousy takes over my heart, knowing I can’t do the same. I feel angry for not being able to hug her like them so I walk out.

Yoseob’s pov

We watch while Gikwang walks out without saying a word. I know the reason. That fool still feels the same about her. Both of them are such fools for doing this to each other.

“ Melina, why do you look thinner than before? Doesn’t Gina noona feed you enough?” I ask while pushing Gina jokingly.

“ Yaah I look after her better than all of you did!” she says and we sit on the floor.

“She is the sister I never had, I can never show her how thankful I am for everything she did for me.” says Melina. Her voice sounds weak. She must really be in a bad state. Just like Gikwang. Ahh they need to stop making each other suffer like this. Gikwang needs to stop doing this to her.

We talk about everything except Gikwang. Dongwoon tried to bring him up but she stayed quiet. So we never brought it up again. We decided to carry on practising while Melina was watching us. Hyunseung walks in and as soon as he sees Melina he runs and hugs her.

“ Beautiful! How can you not come and visit us? I missed you!” he screams and she smiles.

“ Sorry oppa, I was busy with studies and I couldn’t really go out. Forgive me” she says shyly and he pinches her cheeks.

“ Yah Hyunseung why are you here? You learnt the moves already.” I ask him

“ Yeah but I have just been told that Gikwang and I need to come up with a new choreography for our Let it Snow song for the upcoming concert. Where is he?” he says.

“ He was here but he walked out about 30 minutes ago, he will be here in a minute, probably” says Dongwoon.

“ He better be here, I really need help to come up with good moves because president will come to check it after 2 hours.” He says worryingly.

“ Oppa Can I help you with your choreography? I am bored just sitting down and doing nothing” asks Melina.

“Yeah I am more than happy if you help, we all know you are a great dancer as far as I remember from our concert” says Hyunseung and winks.

They get up to practise. I hit the play button and the song starts playing and she listens to it carefully.

“ Oppa Since it’s a sad song towards a girl, wouldn’t it look good if the both of you performed with a female dancer on stage?” she asks and Hyunseung smiles and claps.

“ That will be amazing! We never thought of that. Then you can pretend to be that female right now and we can make moves like that.” he says.

They carry on practising for an hour and they come up with amazing moves. Wow she would be amazing if she was performing on stage. The dance looks really good.

In that moment Gikwang walks in with a shocked face and looks straight to Hyunseung.

“ What the hell are you doing?” he asks him.

We all look at him shocked to see how angry he looks. What the hell is wrong with him?
