Junhyung’s pov

PABO! Nothing but a pabo! Why on earth would you say its Kim Rian’s? Out of all people why her? We know it better than anyone else that she still likes him. Why didn’t he say it was a male friend?

“Yaahh why Kim Rian? Do you want to create a scandal or something?” I ask him. He looks lost in thoughts.

“ Hey I did make it clear that she is my best friend. What was I supposed to say? It belongs to Melina, my girlfriend who lives in London, who I met and liked at our concert? Does that make any sense to you Junhyung?” he says with an angry face and he actually is making sense for the first time.

He wouldn’t be able to say that of course. I just didn’t want him to suffer like I did. When I was caught with Hara while walking together as friends, they made stories about us being couples which made us suffer a lot. But at the end we fell in love and became real couples.

But his situation is different to mine. He has a girl and what if they create rumours, wouldn’t Melina suffer? Is Gikwang risking that?

“What if they write some rumors and Melina sees it, how would she feel did you ever think? She is already miles away from you and don’t know what is going on most of the time, Gikwang this is just not good.” I say and he sighs really loud and puts his head on to the table.

The rest of the members are listening to our conversation without a word. They all go over to Gikwang and hug him while he has his head on the table.

“Hyung don’t worry, it will be alright”

“ I will always be there to sort it out for you if there is a problem my best friend”

“Our Gikwangshii doesn’t give up easily, it will be ok”

“come on guys lets go home and relax, we don’t have schedules tomorrow, Gikwangha come on, so you can call your girl and have a good sleep after hearing her voice.” Says Doojon.

Gikwang’s pov

After a hot shower I began to relax and make myself believe it will be ok. They will not write rumours about me and Kim Rian. Why would they? I did say she is my best friend. Ahhhh I need to hear Melina’s voice to get my senses back to my brain.

“ Hello?” she answers

“ Beautiful my girl, I am missing you!” I sing to her.

“ Gikwangshi are you home now?” she asks

“ yeah baby, I am home now, out of shower, nice and clean, laying in my bed.” I say and she giggles probably blushing.

“ hmm that’s a waste, I wish I was there to enjoy that” she says which makes me blush this time.

“ My girl has a dirty mind and I like that” I say and she laughs.

“ oppa I really miss you, I cant stand it anymore.”

“ I know baby, I cant wait till we get a vacation so I can come and see you. “

“ I hope that will be soon oppa. Go sleep now, you must be tired. I will be going home in 10 minutes, my lesson is finished, I will send you a text when I am home so you can see it when you wake up ok?”

“ok baby be careful on your way and I will call you when I wake up to say good night to you” I say realising our time difference is really weird. I sleep, she wakes up, I wake up, she goes to sleep.

I fall asleep as soon as I hang up.

Melina’s pov

He hangs up and I feel empty.Ok this distance is too much! I really want to hug him and forget about all my worries. Ahhhh Lord Will I ever see his face again?

While I was having depressed thoughts, I put my head on to the table in canteen and this paper gets stuck to my face. I put my head up to see what it is. It’s probably one of university’s advertisements.

I start running to the student office; my friends are running after me probably thinking I have gone crazy or something.

“Hi, can anyone study abroad or do I need to qualify for it?” I ask the lady at the student office while holding the paper in my hand.

“ well dear, as long as you have good attendance and enough grades, yes you can be qualified. May I check it for you? Give me your student card and I will check it” she says and I hand her my student card.

“ well well well, you have  enough attendance and your grades are perfect, would you like to sign the documents now or later?” she says and I can’t believe it.

“ right now please” I say smiling and my friends are looking worried.

“ Mel I think you should discuss it with your family and have a think about it first” says Karien and my other two friends nod in approve.

“There is nothing to think about, I have the opportunity that comes once in a life time don’t you understand? I can study and be with him at the same time. God gave me the best luck ever. How can I miss it?” I say and they all are out of words.

I know it is crazy but I don’t care. This distance will not make us suffer anymore. I will never regret my choice.
