Yoseob’s Pov

“Gikwangaaaaaaahhhhhhhh stop! Where are you going? Don’t go down there!” I keep screaming at the running Gikwang. Why did he start running towards the sand all of a sudden?

“Don’t tell me that fool is going into the river at this cold?” asks Junhyung while running towards the steps along with other members.

“Is he suicidial? He hasn’t lost his mind that much yet right? It is freezing cold, he wouldn’t do such a thing!” says Hyunseung.

“He is the pabo of the group, remember! I wouldn’t be shocked if he just catches a fish from the river with bare hands and come back.

Than we all stop and freeze at the scene we see in front of us before going down the steps. Gikwang is hugging this person so tight, I cannot believe my eyes.

Melina’s pov

I am sorry Karien and mum. I had to get away to be alone. I know they will not follow me here. I walk down the steps and step on the sand and walk along the path. My favourite place. I sit at the end of it where the waves are crashing slowly. Listen to the waves Mel…just listen and get it all out of your chest and mind. Gikwang is someone you could never have, he probably wouldn’t even remember you anymore, just move on…Who am I to like someone perfect like him? Just listen to the waves and relax….

“MELINAAA!!!”

Mel just stop it, block the memory you had with him, forget his voice.

“MELINAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!”

Ahh why doesn’t it work? Why do I keep hearing his voice! River and the waves, you are no help today, stop making me hear his voice.

“MELINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!”

Ok I give up! I am going back now, the waves are annoying me. Why did it have to make me hear his voice? I stand up and turn around to walk back. My body does not move, I feel like a stone like the stone underneath my feet.

What now? I am hallucinating? I can’t be mad already right? I see Gikwang moving, no actually running towards me smiling brightly. I am scared right now; maybe I am finally crazy for not eating or sleeping properly. He is closer now and pair of arms wraps tightly around me, I can’t breathe.

Ok this can’t be a hallucination because I can’t breathe, he is hugging me really tight. What is he doing here? Why is he acting like this? Why is he so happy to see me? What the hell am I thinking about? I should be happy he is here. I push back a little bit and look at him in the eye.

“ Gikwang what are you doing here? “ I ask him and he smiles again.

Gikwang’s pov

“What are you doing here” she asks me either shocked or not believing that I am here. I look at her while smiling. I know she is shocked about me being this happy or hugging her like that. Only if she knew how empty everything has been since the last time I saw her. Only if she knew how much I missed her company and…..I don’t know what this feeling is called in my heart. But I know one thing. I will never let her get away again. No matter what.

“ Gikwang are you alright? Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be with your members? She asks me one more time and I come back to my senses. I forgot about them. I turn my head around to see them up on the road watching us curiously. I turn back to her and say what is on my mind.

“I miss you, I miss your company, only if you knew how empty its been last 2 days. Look I don’t know what this feeling I have in my heart, I know you don’t know me enough and I don’t know you enough but I do know one thing: I want you to be around me, I want you near me because without you I can’t think properly.” I say in one go and her face look worried.

She is freaked out I know, I am freaked out too. Or maybe she doesn’t even care, or maybe she doesn’t even see me like that.

“ but Gikwang remember I am only your fan and you are the idol at the end of the day. How can someone like me deserve someone perfect like you, you don’t know me enough? ” she asks me with a sad expression. I cannot believe her statement! She thinks so low of herself. She probably does not realise what she is worth.

“You are perfect more than what some of those female artists would worth. You don’t have to be a superstar for me to like you. I am not perfect, and you don’t have to be perfect either. Your heart is like gold. I will get to know you and you will get to know me too, I am sure things will work out either way. Look I…I like you enough to say all this” I say to her and I see her tears forming in her eyes. I hug her again, this time she returns the hug.
