King Sejeong and Princess Hana

**Happy belated birthday, Shin Bora!**

:: Happy Birthday, My Love! ::

“Oh, my God! Ya, Kim Sejeong! This is awesome, dude!,” Nayoung exclaimed excitedly right after he saw his best friend went out of the red Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 4MATIC car.

“Appa bought this for me. Cool isn’t it?,” he replied.

“Of course, though! It’s a luxury car, you know,” Nayoung said.

“I don’t want it at first, but appa insisted me to buy this one. I prefer a less expensive car rather than this one. I don’t want to disappoint appa, and you know that, right?,” Sejeong earnestly said. Nayoung just smiled and patted on his shoulder. He knew his best friend well. Sejeong doesn’t like being pampered by his parents with their wealth, but then, he couldn’t stop his father from buying the expensive car for him.

“Just accept it for this time. He just want to show you on how much he loves you. It’s not the matter of expensive or not, but I think he thought that expensive cars usually have a better quality. Besides, he can afford to buy you one, though,” Nayoung replied. Sejeong furrowed his brows.

“Why are you sounded like appa, huh? He said exactly the same thing earlier,” Sejeong said.

“Chincha?,” Nayoung replied. Sejeong confirmed it by nodding his head, causing his friend burst out into laughing.

“Ya, that means, we have a same thought, though!,” he said.

“Yeah, same thought, like ahjussi,” Sejeong said teasingly before he slowly walking backward and running away.

“Huh? Y-Ya!,” Nayeong cried and immediately chasing his friend. The two running around the house until the backyard garden while playfully teasing and bickering with each other.

“Aigoo.. Look at the two small kids over there,” Mrs. Baek said while shook her head. She and the girls were busy preparing the ingredients to cook for their lunch today. The girls chuckled while once a while glancing at their boyfriend childish acts from the kitchen’s window.

“Just let them be,” a gruff voice suddenly being heard. The three women immediately turned to look at the owner of the voice.

“Huh? Yeobo? I thought you are still at the restaurant, though,” Mrs. Baek said as she was surprised with her husband’s sudden appearance.

“Ah, that! I have cancelled it. I was worried with Sejeong because this is his first time driving his own car. So, I followed him from behind until he arrived at home. I park my car a bit far from the house, and he didn’t realize I was following him earlier,” Mr. Baek replied.

“Mworago? You bought him a car?,” Mrs. Baek exclaimed in surprise, gaining attention from the two girls.

“Sejeong got a new car?,” Mimi mouthed to Hana. The two girls were surprised too.

“He asked my permission to buy one for him. Since, you know,” Mr. Baek said while glancing at the two girls who were busy doing their work while eavesdropping their conversation.

“Oh, that!,” Mrs. Baek replied while nodded smilingly. The Baek couple then giggled silently as the two girls were oblivious on what they were talking.

“Arasso. I’m going upstairs to change my shirt. I will be right back,” Mr. Baek said as he pecked on his wife’s cheek and quickly heading out of the kitchen. On the other hand, he felt relieved that his wife didn’t question much about the car and could accept his reason.

The Baek family and their son’s friends were enjoying their lunch on that afternoon for the last time as Sejeong and the rest will be going back to their hostel and respective home on that day. While eating, Mr. and Mrs. Baek kept on reminding their son to drive carefully wherever he go.

“Arasso, appa, eomma. I know, though,” Sejeong replied as he rolled his eyes annoyingly. Having an overprotective parents were not easy for him. The rest just chuckled at him.

Sejeong and Nayoung planned to go back to the hostel in late afternoon. They also planned to have dinner with their girlfriend at their favorite cafe near the hostel.

“Here,” his mother handed him four food containers which contained their family’s homemade kimchi. “Each of you will get our infamous homemade kimchi. Hana ya, please send our regards to your parents, arasso? Ask them to come to our restaurant at anytime. If our Sejeongie is not coming home, we will be there during weekend,” Mrs. Baek said.

“Dae, auntie,” Hana replied. She then leaned forward to hug Mrs. Baek. “Thank you, auntie,” she thanked her for warmly welcome her and the others to their house and treated them nicely along their stay.

“You’re welcome, dear. Do come again next time, and please take a look at our Sejeongie. He can be clumsy sometimes,” Mrs. Baek said while glancing at her son.

“Here we go again,” he mumbles, but loud enough for the rest to hear and they just chuckled at him. Mimi and Nayoung took their turn to bid goodbye to Sejeong parents.

“Study smart, but don’t play too hard. Don’t hurt yourself, and be nice to other people, arasso?,” Mr. Baek said while patting on his son’s back.

“Dae, appa. Thank you for the gift,” Sejeong replied.

“You are welcome, and please, drive carefully, arasso?,” Mr. Baek reminded him for the umpteenth time before they halted the hug.

“Here we go again,” he mumbles, and earning a smack on his arm from his father. The rest just laughed at father and son antics.

“Goodbye eomma, appa. Take care and don’t work too hard!,” Sejeong shouted from the car while waving his hand at his parents. The rest waved their hands at the Baek couple as to bid their last goodbye before they left the house. The Baek couple waving their hands back at them while watching the car slowly moving out of the car’s porch until it disappeared from their sight.

“Alright. We are here!,” Sejeong announced as the car stopped in front of the restaurant’s building. He then parked the car at the vacant parking space near the restaurant. The two gentlemen quickly went out of the car, and opened the backseat doors for their respective girlfriends. Sejeong grabbed Hana’s hand and entwined their hands together, while Nayoung just casually put his arm around Mimi’s shoulder since he’s taller than her.

“Annyeong, sajangnim!,” Sejeong and Nayoung politely greeted the owner of the restaurant.

“Oh, Sejeong ah, Nayoung ah! Annyeong, annyeong!,” the middle aged man greeted them back. “Aigoo.. Who are these pretty ladies you two bring here, huh?,” he replied while looking at Hana and Mimi.

“This is my girlfriend, Hana,” Sejeong introduced her to him.

“And, this is my girlfriend, Mimi,” Nayoung introduced. The two girls shyly bowed to the middle aged man.

“Aiguu.. Annyeong girls! Welcome! Boys, just bring your girlfriend to the vacant table over there. I will bring the menu in a short while,” he said while pointing at the table which a bit secluded from the open area. It’s a favorite spot for Sejeong and Nayoung whenever they ate there.

“Kamsahamnida, sajangnim!,” they thanked in unison while lead the girls to the said table.

“Here we go,” the restaurant owner laid the menu on their table. Sejeong and Nayoung shoved the menu to their respective girlfriends.

“Ahjussi, I want to order usual menu, and lemon iced tea for the drinks. Thanks,” Sejeong said.

“Arasso. One spicy tteokbokki and lemon iced tea,” he replied while jotting down the order.

“Nado, but for drinks please change it to Coke. Thanks, ahjussi,” Nayoung placed his order.

“Arasso. And, how about these two beautiful ladies? Are you ready to order?,” the middle aged man asked.

“I would like to have the same as Sejeong,” Hana said. Sejeong raised his brows while looking at her. She then leaned closer to Sejeong. “It’s my favorite as well, you know,” she whispered.

“Ah, I see,” Sejeong replied and nodded understandingly.

“Arasso,” the restaurant owner jotting down the order.

“I would like to have spicy udon with raspberry juice. Thank you, ahjussi,” Mimi placed her order.

“Ah, you and your boyfriend have different taste, huh?,” the middle aged man said with a teasing smile.

“Huh? Ah, y-yeah,” Mimi stuttered as she smiled sheepishly, causing the rest chuckled at her.

“Alright, kids, I will be right back in twenty minutes,” he said.

“Kamsahamnida, ahjussi!,” they thanked him in unison. The middle aged man smiled as he left.

“Now I know that you like tteokbokki. I will try to learn from eomma to cook your favorite food next time,” Sejeong said.

“Aww.. that’s very sweet of you!,” Nayoung playfully said while teasing his friend, causing the girls burst into laughing.

“Chincha? Gomawo, Nayoung ah. Do you want me to cook for you too?,” Sejeong sarcastically replied with a smirk.

“Yesh, pleash,” he childishly said. Sejeong playfully showed his fist to his friend as he felt annoyed with his act.

“Aigoo.. These kids,” Mimi said in annoyed tone while glaring at the two friends. They then burst into laughing once again. They continued their random chatting until the restaurant owner came and served the food and drinks they had ordered earlier. They thanked him before they began eating the food.

“Jalmukesumneda! (I will eat well!),” they chorused. They couldn’t stop praising on how delicious the food were. Hana and Mimi have to admit that the food there really suit their taste.

“Ya, no wonder you two are regular customers here, huh?,” Mimi said.

“It’s not only us, noona. Almost all students in our college eat here. It’s just that sometimes we didn’t have much time during lunch hour to get here, so, we just ate at the college cafe,” Sejeong replied. Nayoung nodded in agreement.

“We don’t have our own transport back then. Now Sejeong got a car, so, we can go out for dinner at anywhere we want after this,” Nayoung said.

“Only you two after this, arasso?,” Mimi reminded her boyfriend.

“I didn’t say I will bring any other people other than us two,” Nayoung replied.

“Just so you know, this girlfriend of yours is a jealous queen,” Hana said with a sly smile.

“Say the one who is worse than me,” Mimi replied while mocking her friend.

“Err.. noonas, don’t worry, okay? We only have our eyes on you two,” Sejeong said while smiling awkwardly. The rest laughed on his words.

“Ya, what about your cousin? You have to look after her too,” Nayoung said.

“Ya, she’s a different case, though! She’s my family member,” Sejeong quickly replied while nervously glancing at Hana. He could see that his girlfriend just smiled over Nayoung’s words, and he suddenly felt Hana’s hand patted gently on his lap, assuring him that she’s okay with it. “Hey, I will introduce her to all of you later, how about that?,” Sejeong said as he suggested.

“We are okay with that. Who knows, she can be friends with the ladies here,” Nayoung replied.

“Yeah, we are okay with it, Sejeong ah,” Hana said.

“Cool!,” Sejeong replied. They then continued eating while chatting on random things.

After the dinner, Sejeong and Nayoung sent their respective girlfriends to home. They decided to send Mimi first since she stayed a bit farther than Hana’s home. Nayoung offered to carry Mimi’s small luggage and sent her until the elevator because it’s already late at night.

“I’ll see you on tomorrow,” Nayoung said as he leaned forward and hugged her.

“See you on tomorrow,” Mimi replied as she returned the hug. The couple then have a brief kiss before they halted the hug. After bid each others goodbye, and making sure that Mimi safely entered the elevator, Nayoung turned his heels towards the exit door and heading to Sejeong’s car.

“Nayoung ah, you drive the car,” Sejeong said as he opened the car’s door.

“Me? Are you sure?,” Nayoung asked.

“Aigoo.. I’m giving you a chance, though. Drive carefully!,” Sejeong replied in annoyed tone.

“Assa!,” Nayoung cheered happily as he got out of the car. Sejeong just chuckled while shook his head at his friend’s silly act. After giving him a short instruction on how to drive the car, Nayoung gained his confidence in driving Sejeong’s new car.

“Wow! I think I need to ask my appa to buy me a car later. This is awesome, dude!,” he excitedly said.

“You don’t have to. Just use my car whenever you want to use it. Don’t burden your parents, though,” Sejeong replied.

“Chincha? Thanks, buddy!,” Nayoung thanked him. Their conversation made Hana smiled. Sejeong and Nayoung indeed treating each other like a family member, just like her and Mimi. It’s just that, she still didn’t have a driving license, and she depended on Mimi or her parents to drive her on wherever she wanted to go.

Not long after, they arrived in front of the post guard of the apartment building. Sejeong heading out first, and rushed to the backseat door to open the door for his girlfriend.

“Gomawo,” Hana thanked him.

“Gwenchana, noona,” Sejeong replied as he walked towards the car’s trunk and took out Hana’s small luggage. “Kaja!,” he said as he grabbed her hand, and entwined their hands together. It's an affectionate gesture which Sejeong loves to do to her ever since they became a couple. Hana on the other hand loved every affectionate gestures he did to her as to show that she belongs to him.

“Good night, noona. I’m sorry I can’t see you on tomorrow because I have a meeting with our boxing club members during lunch time, and a cycling drill in the afternoon after class,” Sejeong said right after the stopped in front of the elevator. Hana let out a sigh while staring at him.

“Why are you joining so many college sports activities, huh?,” she replied in annoyed tone. Sejeong just smiled and pinched on her nose. “Ya!,” Hana exclaimed while glaring at him.

“For your info, Miss Shin Bora, I have been offered to study at the college because I was a school athlete before. So, I have been chosen as a college athlete, and they encouraged me to join as many sports activities as I can. I don’t have any choice, the college wanted me to do that,” Sejeong explained. Hana sighed and leaned forward to hug him. Sejeong pulled her closer and hugged her tight.

“Just call or text me after you have done with the cycling drill,” she said.

“Of course, I will do that, though,” he replied. “How about we have a dinner together after that?,” Sejeong suggested.

“Arasso,” she replied sadly. Sejeong pulled off the hug and stared at her. He smiled when looking at her pouting face. He then leaned closer and pecked on her lips.

“Mianhae,” he apologized. Hana just let out a faint smile.

“Gwenchana,” she replied. Sejeong couldn’t help but to chuckle as he found her act was so cute.

“Alright. I’ll see you on tomorrow night,” he said. He helped Hana to hold the elevator’s door and let her to get inside. “Good night, noona. Saranghae!,” he said while waving his hand at her.

“Good night, Sejeong ah. Nado saranghae!,” she replied, waving her hand back at him. Both of them smiled to each other until the elevator’s door closed. Sejeong sighed as he slowly walking out of the building.

“Mianhae, noona. I hope you will forgive me. I just want to make it as a surprise for you,” he mumbled.

“So? How does she react?,” Nayoung asked right after Sejeong entered inside the car.

“She was upset with me at first. I suggested to her that we will meet during dinner, and I almost spilled the bean, you know,” he replied.

“Aigoo.. Just let her be. She will thank you and us later when she find out on tomorrow. Alright, it’s already late. Let’s go home,” Nayoung said as he started to drive the car.

“Let’s,” Sejeong replied as he buckle up his seatbelt.

“Hana ya!,” Mimi called her right after the class ended.

“Huh? What’s up?,” she replied while her hands busy packing up the belongings inside her bag.

“Do you want to join us for lunch? Nayoung said he will going to have a lunch at the outside,” she asked.

“Nah, it’s okay. I will just have my lunch at college’s cafe,” Hana replied.

“Are you okay having lunch alone?,” she asked again.

“It’s okay, Mimi ya. Just go with Nayoung. I’m fine,” Hana replied with an assurance smile.

“Arasso, if you said so. I’ll see you after lunch, okay?,” she said as she got up from her seat.

“Alright. See ya!,” Hana replied. She just watching Mimi walking out of the classroom, and let out a sigh. “I miss you, Sejeong ah. Why must you have a meeting during lunch our time? Aishh..,” she mumbled. She was about to walking out of the classroom when suddenly she heard an incoming text message sound. She quickly looked at the phone screen, and read the text message.

From: Sejeongie

Hello, my love! I know that you will be alone during lunch hour. Just go outside the class, and someone is waiting to accompany you. I will see you later. Saranghae!

“Huh? Someone will accompany me? Nugu? (Who?),” she mumbled while walking out of the classroom.

“Hana unnie!,” a voice suddenly called her. She turned to look at the person who called her just now.

“Huh? You are..,” she said with unsure tone as she looked at the familiar face in front of her.

“Annyeonghaseyo! I am Cho Hyeyeon, Sejeong oppa’s baby cousin,” Hyeyeon introduced herself as she bowed.

“Oh, Hyeyeon! Annyeong!,” Hana greeted her as she smiled. “His cousin is so cute, just like him,” she thought.

“Oppa called me this morning and asked me to accompany you for lunch today. Is it okay with you?,” Hyeyeon asked.

“I’m okay, Hyeyeon ah. Sorry for troubling you,” she replied and apologized.

“Gwenchana, unnie. Alright, kaja! I’m hungry!,” Hyeyeon cheerfully said as she casually grabbed Hana’s hand and entwined their hands together.

“Aigoo.. She acted just like her cousin,” she thought as she smiled.

“Err.. Hyeyeon ah. Why are we at the parking lot here?,” Hana asked in curious.

“Oppa asked me to bring you for lunch at his favorite cafe. He said you loved eating tteokbokki,” Hyeyeon replied.

“Chincha? He told you that too?,” Hana asked in surprised.

“Dae, unnie. But, don’t worry, he didn’t share all things about you with me,” Hyeyeon said as he unlock the car’s door. “Let’s get inside, unnie,” Hyeyeon said. Hana just followed suit as she entered inside the car.

“I just got a driving license, unnie. So, I’m sorry if my driving is not as good as oppa,” Hyeyeon truthfully said. Hana just smiled on her words.

“Gwenchana, Hyeyeon ah. Just drive safely, okay?,” Hana said.

“Dae. Kaja!,” she cheerfully said, causing the latter chuckled.

After a few minutes of driving, they finally arrived in front of the cafe building.

“Let’s go, unnie,” Hyeyeon said as she unbuckle her seatbelt. Hana did the same and the two girls then went out of the car. She then spotted Mimi’s car at the parking space.

“Isn’t that, Mimi’s car?,” she mumbled in curious. “Maybe she's having her lunch with Nayoung in here too,” she thought. Hyeyeon lead Hana to the main entrance of the cafe, but then she stopped, causing Hana stopped walking too.

“Huh, why is it full today?,” Hyeyeon said. Hana looked through the glass door, and she saw the cafe was full with customers having their lunch there. “Unnie, can you please wait here first? I want to ask the cafe owner if there’s any vacant table for us,” she said.

“Arasso,” Hana replied. With that, Hyeyeon quickly entered inside the cafe and disappeared. After a minute of waiting, she suddenly felt something jabbed on her waist.

“Don’t look back,” a gruff voice said, causing her startled and her heart suddenly beats faster. She froze on her spot. “Close your eyes first, palli!,” the voice instructed. Hana just followed the instruction as she was scared to the hell at the moment. The memories of her and Mimi being attacked by the bad guys at the Han river last time suddenly came across her mind. She was in a verge of crying. “Act like nothing happen. I will lead you to somewhere. Now, grab my shirt, and when I say walk, you start walking, arasso?,” the voice said.

“D-dae,” she answered as she stuttered. In her mind right now, she only think of her lover, Sejeong. She wish he was there at the moment to save her again. She felt like she will involved in a danger situation again. But in her thought, she was thinking, where’s Hyeyeon?

She walked with difficulties as she couldn’t see anything. Once a while she will stumble at the back of the person who was leading her to unknown place. She could hear noises coming from the customers inside the cafe, but then the noises slowly reduced. She stumbled with the person’s back again, but he didn’t say anything. The person suddenly stopped walking, and she stopped walking too.

“Now, open your eyes,” a gruff voice suddenly changed into a familiar voice, and Hana slowly opened her eyes. She was shocked to see her boyfriend, Kim Sejeong was smiling widely while looking at her. She then quickly hitted his chest and cried. Sejeong immediately pulled her into his arms and hugged her.

“How could you do this to me?,” she said between her sobbing.

“Mianhae, noona. I just wanted to surprise you, but I didn’t know that I have scared you. Mianhae,” Sejeong apologized while still hugging her, patting on her back to soothe her. After she stopped sobbing, Sejeong quickly wiped the tears on her cheeks, and leaned closer to kiss her. The couple shared their passionate kiss until they stopped as they needed an air to breathe.

“Happy birthday, Shin Bora! I love you,” Sejeong said while staring into her eyes with full of love.

“Thank you. I love you too. I thought you have already forgot about my birthday today. You didn’t wish me anything on last night. I feel sad, you know,” Hana said while pouting sadly.

“Mianhae. It was a part of my plan not to wish your birthday last night. And, all the things I told you last night was a lie, and it’s part of my plan too. Jeongmal mianhae. I really want to surprise you. Now, can you please close your eyes once again before we enter this room?,” Sejeong said. Hana then just obediently closed her eyes. The moment she heard Sejeong pulled the door’s knob..

“SURPRISE!”

Hana quickly opened her eyes, and she could see her best friend Mimi was holding a birthday cake with candles on it.

“Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to Shin Bora, happy birthday to you!,” they sang the birthday song to her.

“Make a wish and blow the candles, palli!,” Mimi said to her. Hana just followed on her friend’s instruction, and she immediately closed her eyes to make a wish before she blew the candles. The rest applaud and Mimi immediately put the birthday cake on the small table in the middle of the room.

“Happy birthday, my friend. Mianhae for being a part of your boyfriend’s plan to prepare this event for you,” Mimi said as she hugged her best friend, and kissed on her cheek.

“Thank you, my friend. I thought you forgot about my birthday too, you know,” Hana replied as she pouted.

“Aigoo.. You know that I never failed to celebrate your birthday together since we were at London, right?,” Mimi said.

“I know. Thank you,” Hana thanked her.

“Happy birthday, Hana noona,” Nayoung said while stood next to Mimi.

“Thank you, Nayoung ah,” she replied as she smiled.

“Unnie! Mianhae!,” Hyeyeon suddenly cried while leaning forward to hug her.

“Aigoo.. Gwenchana, Hyeyeon ah. I thought you purposely left me outside the cafe, though,” she said while patting on her back.

“Happy birthday, unnie!,” Hyeyeon wish to her.

“Thank you,” she replied with a smile as the two halted the hug.

“Blame Sejeong oppa for made a last minute plan, and made me look like a bad girl in front of you,” she said while glaring at Sejeong. The latter just showed his peace sign to her while grinning.

“Gwenchana, Hyeyeon ah. I know you didn’t mean it, right?,” she replied.

“Alright, noona. Let’s cut the cake, and then we can have our lunch together,” Sejeong said while patting on her back, gesturing her to go to the table where they put the birthday cake earlier. Hana just followed suit as she took the plastic knife and began to cut the cake. The rest then applaud and Sejeong asked his girlfriend to give a short speech before they started eating their lunch. Sejeong has ordered Hana’s favorite menu, rabokki (ramen + tteokbokki) and other delicious foods for them and friends to enjoy.

After the birthday celebration and lunch, Hyeyeon excused herself to go back to the college as she had a class in the afternoon. Nayoung and Mimi were planning to have their shopping at the nearest mall, while Sejeong was planning to bring his girlfriend for a walk at Yeouido Park.

“Are you okay with my plan in taking you for a walk at Yeouido Park?,” Sejeong asked. The two were inside the car, heading to the said place.

“I love it. It’s one of my wishes to take a walk at the park during my birthday,” she replied as she smiled.

“Chincha? Can I know what other wishes of yours?,” he asked.

“Ermm.. I want to visit zoo to see my favorite animals, and eating soft ice cream,” she replied.

“Should we go to the zoo now? I can change the plan and we can go there,” Sejeong asked.

“No, it’s okay. I don’t think we can visit it today. I just want to take a walk at the park with the person I love here,” Hana replied while pinching softly on Sejeong’s cheek. Sejeong caught her hand, and kissed it repeatedly. She felt butterflies on her stomach everytime Sejeong showed his affection towards her.

“That’s very sweet of you,” Sejeong said. He put her hand on his lap, and caressed it gently. Hana just smiled while staring at his side profile. She still couldn’t believe Kim Sejeong whom she missed over the years was now sitting next to her, and was trying to fulfill one of her birthday wishes. She never felt so in love with someone, although she used to have a boyfriend back then when she was in London. Sejeong is totally different from the previous one. He’s indeed one of a kind. He sometimes can be overly romantic, but she likes it. She loves to be pampered by her lover.

“Alright, we are here,” Sejeong announced right after the car stopped at the parking lot. Although it’s a working day, there were many people at that time, especially tourists from other countries were having their walk at the park since it’s spring. He then unbuckle his seatbelt, and he did the same to his girlfriend.

“Gomawo,” Hana thanked him.

“Don’t mention,” he said. “Today is your special day, so, I will treat you like a queen of the day. So, shall we go now, Your Highness?,” he teasingly said.

“Kaja!,” Hana replied, causing Sejeong chuckled on her words. The couple then walking hand in hand from the parking lot to the park.

“Do you want to sit here for a while?,” Sejeong asked after about half an hour strolling along the park.

“Okay,” Hana replied. They took their seat at the bench which facing the Han river. The weather was still chill, and the couple were sitting close to each other. Sejeong wrapped his arm around her shoulder, and Hana circled her arms around his waist.

“Oh, wait!,” Sejeong suddenly said while releasing his arm from her. He then took something from his pants pocket, and put the small blue box on his lap.

“What’s that?,” Hana asked while looking at the small box. Sejeong just smiled while opening the box. It’s a pair of platinum rings, one have a single white diamond on the centre, while the other pair have three small white diamonds. He then took out the rings and put the box inside his pants pocket back.

“May I?,” he asked while extended his hand to Hana. She was still confused with what Sejeong was doing, but then she slowly smiled when Sejeong asked to put her hand on his palm.

“This is a custom name ring, or a couple ring. As you can see, I asked them to craft our name into each rings. Yours have mine, and mine have yours,” Sejeong said while put the ring on her finger. Hana was speechless as she felt overwhelmed when Sejeong put the ring on her finger. She looked at the ring while admiring it.

“Let me,” Hana said as she took the ring from Sejeong’s hand, and put the ring on his finger. “Now, you’re mine, and I’m yours,” she said while holding Sejeong’s hand. “Gomawo, Sejeong ah. But, when did you buy these rings? We spent almost of the time together at your house and here,” Hana asked.

“When I and appa went to the car’s showroom last time. While waiting for the documentation process to be completed, I saw this jewellery shop, and since your birthday is coming up, I decided to book custom name ring for us,” he replied. “I want you to know that I really love you, noona. So, whenever I saw this ring, it will always remind me of you,” Sejeong earnestly said. Hana smiled after hearing his words. She put her hand on Sejeong’s cheek and caressed it gently.

“I love you too, and you know that, right? Thank you for making my birthday so special today,” she said as she leaned closer and hugged Sejeong. They stayed hugging each other a bit longer, and Sejeong was the one who pulled off the hug first.

“Let’s go eat soft ice cream,” he said as he got up from the bench.

“Kaja!,” Hana said excitedly as she pulled Sejeong’s arm to get up. The couple then walking hand in hand again while strolling back to the parking lot.
