Jongdae--or should he say Chen--was sitting on the floor head in his hands. The light, unnatural locks of brown were soaked with sweat, and he felt like it was all toppling down on him.

He didn't want to have an attack so soon, but sometimes he couldn't help it. It wasn't something he could entirely control. His trainer told him that if he couldn't take matters into his own hands soon enough, that he wouldn't be able to make it through to the next level of eliminations.

Apparently not.

Now they'd thrown him straight into a new and hopefully promising group. Their preparation was going to take months and even after two months, several had already pulled out. Chen was now a replacement of one of them, and he felt like such a failure.

He'd only made it this far because he was a last resort. The only option left to pick from; the least favorite but only available pick.

And it felt like .

He'd of course known a few of the others from previous training, but apart from that he had felt completely and utterly alone. 

That was when he met Junmyeon, the person who'd bring the smiles back into his life.
