Description

After a car incident which resulted in crutches and therapy for six weeks minimum, her father sends her away, having had enough of his daughter's promiscuous activity. Now, Jinkyong is stuck in the only place she considered home which hasn't really changed that much. Well, except for one thing. The surfer boy who lived next door had a major glow-up and Jinkyong can't seem to remove her eyes from the boy she used to call her older brother.

Writing this for Junmyeon's birthday and a beloved friend and mutual (Glimmer this is for you!!)

Foreword

But, she knows that there's no turning back now. Even if she did make the journey back to Seoul there was no way her father would take her back in. He was sick of her reckless behavior and had finally cut her off from pretty much everything. The only things she had left was her clothes that her father let her keep and the promise of a much-needed caregiver.

After a few minutes, Hyuk finally makes an appearance with another body who can be no other than her own mother. In the shine of the headlights, Jinkyong can still see the beauty in her mother. Her small, petite figure, big bright eyes and a light tan on her skin she hasn't change that much from the last time she saw her which was well over 8 years. Of course, she has aged with time, but her hair is still rich in color and flows well below her shoulders. Her mother holds an umbrella and she looks like she is freezing in her pale creme nightgown. Hyuk stand beside her, having to crouch down to fit underneath the protection of the umbrella and they are both making their way to the side of the car.

Chapter 1: Ahhh thank you and you got me hooked! I really like how this isn’t cliched and you threw in dimensions to characters - Jinkyong isn’t a stereotypical rebellious kid and her past makes us understand her more, and Suho a corporate lawyer niceeee! Keep it up and I’ll be waiting for the next part :) Impressed by your work and also, I really like Jongdae’s character here and your interspersing of flashbacks is nicely handled
