Youngjae gets off the taxi after paying the fee and saying thanks to the taxi driver. He walks towards the entrance of huge building and goes straight to the reception counter.

“Hello, welcome to YWF Corporation.” A very pretty girl dressed up with a dark blue uniform, greets him politely.

“Hello.” Youngjae bows and smiling back to her.

“May I help you sir?”

“Yes. I’m Yoo Youngjae, a new worker here. May I know which level of Chairman Jung’s room?”

“Ah, you’re the new secretary, right?”

“Yes, yes, yes.”

“Chairman Jung had informed me early about your coming today. His room at level 9, you can go up there and ask someone to show where his room will be.”

“Thank you.” Youngjae bows once again before he walks to the lift and press the ‘up’ botton. He waits for a while until the elevator door open. He steps into the elevator and when the door is about to close, he heard someone shout ‘wait’. Youngjae quickly holds the door open. A young man sighs in relief as he enters the elevator.

“Thanks.” He said. Youngjae gave him a polite smile as he press the number ‘9’ button.

“Which level are you going to stop?” Youngjae asks.

“It’s ok. It’s same with you. By the way, I don’t think I ever saw you before. By chance, you’re new here, right?”

“Yes, right. I’m Yoo Youngjae.” He shake hands with the the young man.

“I’m Jaebum, the executive director here. Do you plan to meet with Chaiman Jung?"

“Ah yes.” Youngjae nods.

“Then, I can show you his room. Let’s go.” Jaebum smiles as he walks out of the elevator with Youngjae.

Jaebum greets his employees as they return his greeting happily. Youngjae bows to them politely as he follows Jaebum until they stopped in front of the room with the name ‘Chairman Jung Jinwoo’ on the door.

“Good morning, uncle. Look, I bring your new worker here.” Jaebum greets the middle-age man who was sitting on his seat, with a sincere smile.

“Good morning, Jaebum. Thank you. You can go and finish your work now.” Chairman Jung chuckles.

“Uncle! Give me a break. I just arrived, same as our new friend here. But anyways, yes sir!” Jaebum do the salute pose with a serious face before they laugh together. After all, he really does have a work need to be done soon.

“Youngjae-ssi. See you later.” Jaebum throws a wink at Youngjae which makes the latter feels shy with the gesture. The executive director closed the door quietly.

Chairman Jung watches the young man in front of him with a mix feelings. He observes him carefully and couldn’t help but admit about the fact that Youngjae is a very beautiful young man. There is a certain reason why he decided to offer him a job while at the same time, his company needs a new secretary for CEO. He feels glad that Youngjae accepted the offer without any suspicion.

“Hello. Nice to meet you, Youngjae-ssi. I’m Jung Jinwoo.”

“Hello. Nice to meet you too, sir. Even you’re already know my name, it’s not proper if I didn’t introduce myself. So, my name is Yoo Youngjae.”

“You’re very pretty-looking boy. No wonder.” Chairman Jung compliments him but whispers at the last sentence.

“Ah, thank you.” Youngjae replies as he feels his cheeks turned red.

“So you’re here as CEO’s secretary. Come with me. I’ll introduce you to him.” Chairman Jung stands up from his seat and walks to the door. Youngjae who follows him from behind, couldn’t help but frowns a bit. He looks familiar to him but he didn’t know if he ever saw the middle-age man somewhere. Chairman Jung didn’t bother to knock the door as he opens it casually.

“Hey young man. You don’t give yourself a break, huh? Even for your old man?”

“Dad. Why are you-” His words was cut off as soon as he saw Youngjae.

Youngjae feels like his heart has stopped when he looks at the CEO’s face who equally surprised with his appearance. Their eyes were met together as their world becomes silent out of sudden. Youngjae broke the eye contact as he stares at the transparent plaque on the office desk. CEO Jung Daehyun.

“Youngjae-ssi?” Chairman Jung calls his name. Youngjae snapped out of his various thought as his heart was racing uncomfortably. The unexpected situation made his feel like the old wound started bleeding again. No wonder Chairman Jung looks very familiar to him. Daehyun is like a copycat of his father.

“Y-yes?” Youngjae stutters.

“Let me introduce you. This is Jung Daehyun, my son as well as CEO of YWF Corporation. He is your boss. And Daehyun, here. I brought you a new secretary, Yoo Youngjae. So no need for you to work hard from now.” Chairman Jung introduces themselves happily.

Even he heard his father’s voice that kindly introduces them with each other, Daehyun couldn’t stop staring at Youngjae as he was caught up with a mixed emotion. He miss him very much. Four years is such a long time for him. He never thought that they will meet this soon after that day at the restaurant.

Youngjae clears his throat to end the awkward atmosphere and reach out his hand to his new boss with a thin smile.

“Nice to meet you. I’m Yoo Youngjae. I’m looking forward to work with you and please take care of me.”

Daehyun averts his eyes from Youngjae’s face and looks at the hand that patiently waiting for him to shake it. He gulps before slowly reaching the small hand into his grasp.

“N-nice to meet you too. It’s Jung Daehyun.” He says almost in whisper voice and continues to stare at Youngjae. He looks different. His face showed a mature look compatible with his age but still beautiful like before.

“Ehem. Are you forget that I’m still here, son?” Chairman Jung reminds them about his presence in the office. Daehyun finally stopped his staring and turned to his father. But his father’s eyes are signalling something to him which he looks down confusedly.

“Ah. Sorry.” He quickly let go of Youngjae’s hand while apologizing in realization.

“No, it’s okay.”

“I think my job was done. Good luck in working here, Youngjae-ssi. Please take care of my son too, okay? If there’s anything problem with your work, you may ask him for help. Daehyun, I’ll go first. Don’t work too much and take care of your health.” Chairman Jung utters. He pats Youngjae’s shoulder lightly as the young man bows to him before he leave the room. Once he was outside, Chairman Jung lets out a relief sigh. Hope this will be done. He smiles happily.

The atmosphere in the office was suddenly becomes heavy after his father left. Daehyun doesn’t know how to start a conversation as he stands there awkwardly. He wants to ask how the other man doing these past four years and where is he hiding for all this time.

“How are you? Are you doing well?” Daehyun asks.

Youngjae looks up once he heard the latter’s voice. Right now, he was in front of the man that once he deeply falls in love. The man that once he put all his trust because he’s in love with him. The man that once give him a promise that he will never hurt Youngjae’s heart. But that’s all just a lie. Therefore, he was wondering whether he should answers that question or not. Why would he’s answering a question when he knows that Daehyun doesn’t even care about him?

“I’m fine. What work can I do now?” Youngjae answers kindly as he choose to push the personal thing aside. He could see that Daehyun was flusterred with his cold tone. The CEO took that as the beautiful man doesn’t want to talk about it. But he can’t help it. They need to talk.

“Youngjae, I’m so-”

“Don’t say it.” Youngjae quickly stopped his next words.

“But we need to talk. Where are you hiding for all this time? I search for you every possible place that you may go but I couldn’t find you anywhere. I want to apologize for everything that I had done before. I also think that I own you an explaination.” Daehyun says.

“No. You don’t need to apologize anymore because I’m fine with it. And you don’t own me anything. We’re over.”

“No, we’re not over yet. I admits that I am wrong but I didn’t say anything about breaking up with you because I won’t let you go. Even after these years, I’m still waiting for you.” Daehyun comes out from his desk area to approach Youngjae but the latter quickly stepped back. Daehyun paused his steps.

“Let’s stop this. I really need this job to find a place to stay. I also have two sons to feed, so please...”

“Sons? What are you talking about?” Daehyun suddenly remember a little boy back then in the restaurant. But the one he saw was only a little boy not two...

“Don’t tell me-”

“I don’t think we need to hold this conversation anymore. I knows you’re busy right now. If you don’t have anything to say, please excuse me.” Youngjae rushes to stop whatever Daehyun might want to say. He’s not ready to tell anything to the latter about his sons. Not now when his heart is still cannot accept this nightmare.
