Nineteen
Blood Haven"Are you going to come sit with us?" Somi's head turned to look at Minhyuk, who once again had his bag at his front where he was once again digging through the bag for something only he knew of. He looked up, realising that Jooheon and Somi had been leading him to the cafeteria the whole time. Minhyuk looked through the doors of the canteen at the crowded atmosphere and then the hall the three of them were standing in, with Jooheon and Somi watching him expectantly.
"I..."
"You're already here so you might as well sit with us" Jooheon approached Minhyuk from behind, pushing him towards the canteen doors that Somi opened, giggling as Minhyuk's expression went from stoic to stunned the moment his feet moved towards the open door.
"I didn't agree to this" Minhyuk deadpanned and Jooheon shook his head.
"But you didn't disagree either so let's line up before all the good food is gone" Jooheon changed to dragging Minhyuk towards the line for food by the arm. Somi followed them, a smile pulling at her lips as she wrapped her fingers around the straps of her bag. She joined them in line, standing behind Jooheon and peeking over his shoulder at what was on offer.
"What's the goods for today's menu Heon?" She inquired and Jooheon hummed, rubbing his chin as he looked at all the options on show.
"We have an ordinary looking pasta, there's a fruit salad that probably shouldn't sit there for too much longer and is that beef stroganoff I see there Minhyuk?"
"Affirmative" Minhyuk nodded from his place in the line in front of Jooheon"
"And a beef stroganoff. The rest is unclear because of the big heads of the other beasts in front of us"
"Roger that" Somi nodded, pondering over what she was going to get for her lunch. It wasn't until she was at the front of the line with Minhyuk and Jooheon waiting for her that she decided what she was going to be eating that day by blurting out the first thing that came to mind. With her meal decided, Jooheon and Somi showed Minhyuk to the table that they spent their break sitting at. He peered at all the empty seats before looking at Jooheon, who shrugged, taking his usual place beside Changkyun, who had gone quiet now that someone else had come to their table.
"We have more chairs than we need" He deadpanned as if it was going to explain why they were all sitting at a table with several more empty places.
"Changkyun, Hyunwoo, you may already know him, but this is Minhyuk. He's going to be sitting with us for lunch today" Somi gestured to the free seats, letting Minhyuk be the one to choose where he would sit. Hyunwoo peered up at him with a stare of seriousness that Somi couldn't decipher when she turned to look at him. He stared at Minhyuk and Somi cleared .
"Sit wherever you like Minhyuk" Minhyuk eyed Hyunwoo's seat, Hyunwoo raised an eyebrow in response and wordlessly Minhyuk took his place at Changkyun's other side. Still not saying anything as he put his tray down and slid his bag off, sitting it next to his feet and picking up his cutlery without looking up at any of them.
"This isn't so bad" Jooheon hummed, taking his spoon and blowing on his food.
"It's good to have another person here" Somi agreed, looking at Jooheon as she nodded in agreement before she sent a smile Minhyuk's way.
"I hope you're comfortable because that's your seat now" She looked away with her smile still pulling at her lips and Jooheon watched her, happy to see that smile on her face despite the fatigue in her eyes and the yawns that she would let out.
She's gonna be ok.

It was the day. The day that Somi was not looking forward to in any way what so ever. She awoke a second time to a knock on her door when she had been trying not to fall asleep whilst she held her water bottle under the tap, letting it fill whilst she waited for her kettle to boil. She mumbled a whine of complaint to herself, no right person would be knocking on her door at this hour, she didn't want to be awake right now so why would anyone else want to be awake?
There was a second knock on her door that she cut off by swinging it open after dragging herself over to the door. She looked up with her eyes blinking heavily, only to widen in terror when she saw the figure that she was least expecting to know where her dorm was. fell open, then it smacked shut, only to fall open another two times as the figure of a male with his arms crossed stood in front of her. He looked down at her, raising an eyebrow at her actions.
"What are you doing here?" She demanded to know and Hoseok looked her up and down, she was still dressed in her pyjamas.
"Today is the first day of me training you" Hoseok informed her as if she wasn't already aware and Somi huffed out, looking left and right down the hall with a narrow stare.
"And that permits you to come and find me at my dorm first thing in the morning? The sun isn't even up and how do you know where my dorm is?"
"I wanted to make sure you weren't going to skip out on this, if I have to do this I'm going to make sure you don't waste my time" He shrugged and Somi let out a breath.
"So you did that by coming to my place to make sure I was going to show up?" She rephrased and Hoseok nodded with another shrug.
"I had to be sure" He affirmed and Somi let out a breath, rubbing one of her tired eyes with the palm of her hand.
"Just let me get changed" She muttered, her hand going to the door again and Hoseok stepped forward, his eyebrows perking up.
"You're going to make me wait outside?"
"You're going to forcefully enter a females home?" Somi retorted as Hoseok moved through her, shoving her aside and entering her place without giving her time to form a proper answer to his clearly rhetorical question. The kettles switch flicked loudly, letting Somi know that the water had finished boiling. It made her let out another deep breath, one that she used to try and control any of her temper from escaping her.
"Looks like we're not having any tea this morning" She muttered to herself as she shut her door and Hoseok looked around at her dorm.
"Hurry up and get ready, we need to leave soon" He didn't even glance back at her, and forgetting her restraint, Somi raised a fist at his back, gritting her teeth as she glared at his figure.
"Just sit down and shut up, you're in someone else's home so behave like a proper guest"
"I'll get some of that tea then please"

A yip and a mewl broke out. The body of an excited jaguar fell to the ground, content with all the energy that had been released from within. With a heavily rising chest that fell back down in deep breaths, the form changed and Jooheon lay on the grass, looking up at the sun that shone over the school. Sweat covered his forehead and dampened his hair, but it was all worth it for the release his body felt.
"Are you done now?" Jooheon sat up, looking back and peering over at the bleachers. Kihyun sat there, his bag at his side and his uniform clean and crisp as he leant on the row behind him with his elbows. Jooheon took in another big breath and let it out, shrugging and standing to stroll towards Kihyun who looked at him with an automatic scowl taking place on his face.
"I think so" Jooheon told him and Kihyun kept his mouth shut, watching Jooheon as he moved to sit some distance from Kihyun on the bleachers.
"You know, considering you don't like any of us, you follow us around quiet a bit, or is that just a coincidence Kihyun?" Jooheon didn't look in Kihyun's direction to gauge a reaction from him but he didn't have to in order to know that Kihyun was scrunching his face up in disgust and preparing to hiss an insult his way.
"I can't stand any of you! We go to the same school how do you expect me to not be in the same places as you?" He demanded to know and Jooheon shrugged his shoulders as a smile made his lips curve gleef
