He was just 4 years old when he witnessed his mother making out with other man inside their kitchen. Back then,Jongin was so innocent to understand things. 
He never tell his dad about what he saw. Jongin might be an innocent and a naive child back then, but he understand the sequences of him telling his dad about what he saw.
Hence,he kept his mouth shut. 
Unknown to him,his father already figured out about his wife's dirty secret. 
It was january 14, Jongin's birthday when his mom decided to leave him with his father. Jongin didn't understand a thing about what happened, but he got this feeling that his mother leave them for another man. 
And he was right.

His mom leave them devastated,especially his dad.Mr.Kim almost commit suicide if only Jongin was not there. Started from that day,Jongin never like to celebrate his birthday.

It was summer and Jongin was a freshman in high school when he first saw her. He was a very shy type boy and he don't have any idea how to greet her. Fortunately,the girl who's Minah as she address herself greet Jongin first.
Minah was an innocent girl and have a bubbly personality. Or so he thought. 
Jongin and Minah became couple after Jongin confessed to her infront of her friends. They dated almost 2 years. Minah was Jongin's first LoVe. Eventhough he didn't understand why Minah don't like Jongin to talk with other girls even if it's about their project... he complied. 
Minah was a jealous freak. 
She always started their arguments and make small things to big deal and Jongin was the one who apologized even though he didn't do anything, because that's how he loves Minah. 
January 14, Jongin's birthday. After Minah came into his life, he started to celebrate his own birthday. Jongin prepared all the things he needed for this day. Yes,it his birthday and it's creepy because he really put all his efforts for this. Honestly, Jongin's agenda was not all about his birthday. But,it's for Minah. 
They're already in the third year of high school and Minah continues to complained on why Jongin don't want them to 'do it'. 
Jongin always tell her that he respect her and he don't want her to regret their action in the future. 
But since Jongin let that words out of his mouth,he felt that their bond slowly being rip. So here he was, sneaking out to his girlfriend's apartment to surprise her and to comply about her request. To give his... ity. 
Jongin secretly punched Minah's password and carefully enter her kitchen. 
But before Jongin pass her bedroom, he heard some muffled noise. Jongin felt his heart beating so fast that he thought, it might break his ribs. He took a deep breath and entered the kitchen to-
".. Can you move faster?? " 
Jongin felt his heart drop in the floor because of what he saw. It's like a dejavu to him and he felt betrayal, pain and anger all over his body. 
He dropped the box in his hand, where the cake he personally baked. He grabbed the man's collar and punched him, square in the face. Jongin didn't let the man to breath and kicked him in the stomach. The man growled and spit out blood. Minah tried to approach him but Jongin quickly pushed her away. 
"Babe I-I can expl-... "
"Don't Babe me... Are you not Ashame of yourself/???!!! You-"
"It's your fault Jongin,if you only fulfill your duties as a boyfriend, none of this thing happen. "
Jongin can't believe in what he heard. 
"Are you freaking blaming me????!!! Huh...well your no difference like her. You're a ing who only want and didn't appreciate on what we called EFFORTS!! SHAME ON YOU!!
