he hastily swings himself in the playground,
where the moon is so bright, lighting up his
existence, lighting up his dull life.

then there's this bitter-sweet feeling piling
up in his heart, where her smiles and his cries
are both flashing in his mind.

he stopped and stare at the other swing beside him.
it's now empty. her laughs, her sweet voice,
her cries are all gone, everything feels so hollow
and cold.

this familiar feeling invaded him, once again.
he hates to be alone and lonely, he felt it once
but when he met her, everything changed.

he suddenly remembers the very first night
he thought about her.

the moon, the place, the feeling are all the same
but the difference is he feels lonely because of her.

as the cold wind enveloped his shivering figure,
he took a deep breath to release all his sorrow that
is slowly killing him inside.

he slowly wiped his tears and stared at the beautiful
celestials that were glowing in the night sky.
the most favorite thing he liked to do when he’s
having a hard time.

he doesn’t mind to be alone at this hour, he don’t feel
lonely with the stars that were slowly comforting him.

yet those cruel words once again clouded his innocent
mind.

“why were you born?”

“i should have not let you live…”

“you ruined my life!”

“i hate you and i will never learn to love you.”

while tears were slowly falling in his beautiful face,
he smiled.

“i love you, mom. i hope you’ll learn to love me
sooner.”

he slowly bowed his head and started sobbing,
mumbling howhe loves her mom, his step-dad,
how he miss his half-sister and his best friend.

he doesn’t feel lonely when he’s alone but he feel
isolated when he’s at so called home.

his step-dad hates him, his mom cursed him though
his sister loves him but she’s so far away from taehyung.

taehyung was full of love yet he never felt to be loved
by someone, someone who was so special to him, his mom.

he always wished for her attention, her love but she
never gave him those. she never let him feel that he
was worthy to be loved.

he just wanted someone who’ll love and stay beside
him. but none of them who made him feel loved stayed.

his sister needed to pursue her career outside the country.
his best friend needed to be trained in Seoul.

none of them stayed but he’s still thankful because temporarily,
he felt what it’s like to be loved without begging them.

that was when a barked interrupted his thoughts.

“yeontan-ah…” he whispered.

yeontan taehyung’s tears and it’s like telling
him not to cry. he chuckled and yeontan barked again.

“i love you too, tan-ah.” he sweetly said

then an ethereal being wrapped his thoughts. he suddenly
remembered the girl who fed yeontan earlier.

her bright smile made taehyung smile.
her voice still lingers in his ears.

‘it was sweet as a honey and she was beautiful like a star.’ he thought.

just by remembering the events happened earlier, all his
pain momentarily vanished. she was like a cure that
happened to be his neighbor.

she’s white as a snow, small as a flower and beautiful
as an angel.

“her beauty is surreal, truly ethereal.” he whispered cutely.
 

little did he know there’s someone who was quietly
watching him from afar.
