Chapter 5
ForeseeChapter 5,
Once we were at his place he informed me he’d be sneaking me in. I didn’t ask questions as to why because I didn’t want to pressure him anymore than I already had. So here I stood outside the window he told me to find waiting for him.
After a few minutes the window opens and Dohwan leans his head out. “The coast is clear.”
I snort and reach forward. He grabs my arms helping inside. Once inside I take in the room.
It was very small compared to the rooms at my apartment but it was still doable. The room was mostly bare with a few blankets and pillows tucked away on the farthest wall away from me.
Dohwan awkwardly leans against the wall. “I know it’s not much, but it’s home.”
I shake my head. “It’s not bad at all.”
He clears his throat. “Um, we only have one mattress here and I make my grandma sleep on it. So I hope you don’t mind sleeping on the floor.”
He was charming whenever he talked about his grandma. It made him more loving.
I chuckle. “The floor is wonderful. Honestly anything sounds better than that playset right now.”
He snorts lightly. “That is true.”
A comforting silence falls over us as he moves to the small closest in the room. I watch him taking him all in, the way he picks some more blankets off of the top shelf to the way he checks it for dirt or dust.
My eyes move to his face and how his eyes concentrated on the task at hand. He was handsome, his eyes being in my opinion the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen. A few people called him a delinquent for the shape of his eyes but I actually found them quite pretty. Which brings me to his lips, I wish he'd smile more. I look down at the ground remembering his smile from earlier. I bite my lip trying not to smile myself, he should really smile more often.
“Hello?” A hand is waving in front of my face. I shake my head, I guess I had zoned out. I glance at Dohwan who stood in front of me.
“Oh sorry. I spaced out.” I laugh awkwardly. I certainly wasn’t dreaming about that perfect smile of yours. Nope, no way
