Chapter 4
ForeseeChapter 4,
“What are you doing out here without a jacket on?” A familiar voice asks. My guard falls a bit as my eyes land on Sejong.
I was a bit disappointed it wasn’t Dohwan but at least I could talk to Sejong.
I shrug. “I don’t know.” I glance away from him.
“Do you live around here?” He asks.
I nod. “Yeah. Do you?”
“Mmm.” He hums. “Are you alright? You seem upset?”
I didn’t want to burden him either so I stay silent.
“Hey, you can tell me anything. I’m not here to judge, alright?” He says crossing one leg over the other and turning to face me a bit.
“I got kicked out of my house.” I admit a bit embarrassed.
“Do you have a place to stay?” He immediately asks, not why, not how, but if I had a place to stay.
I shook my head. “No I don’t.”
He stands up while smiling. “You can stay at mine.”
I send him a bewildered look. What?
“Why?” I ask him confused. “Why are you acting like this? You don’t even know me?”
I could understand if he was my friend or maybe even if he was Dohwan but this was Yang Sejong? Someone I barely knew.
“It’s just I understand you.” He awkwardly scratches at the back of his head not knowing what to do with his hands.
“A lot of people are understanding, that’s not what you’re doing.” I reply staring at him. “You’re being too friendly all of the sudden, you’re popular and I’m not. Why would you talk to me?”
He sighs and glances at the ground. “Have you been reading my notes?”
I squint. Why is he changing the subject?
“No I’m not going to go to college so School doesn’t matter to me.” I answer with a shrug.
“You should read them it-.”
“Taeran?” Another familiar voice inter
