** JENNIE’S POV **

 

 

All you can hear is students screaming of happiness as Lisa scored the penalty kick and the opponent only have 20 seconds to score but then the whistle blows and everyone was cheering already.

 

 

 

The team was jumping and screaming as they won the game and cheerleaders are scattered as they hugged everyone from the team.

 

 

 

Lisa was left in the field as she pant so hard as look at the scoreboard.

 

 

 

I saw her from far and she was just staring at it til the team start to run towards her and carry her as they start chanting.

 

 

 

They start to scream her name as they MVP of the game.

 

 

 

You can see how happy at the same time tired in her face. 

 

 

 

Everyone was chanting Lisa.

 

 

 

My heart was in relieved as they won the game and still had one for the finals.

 

 

 

“ Y’all prepare now for the Prom and at the same time a victory party. “ The coach said

 

 

 

And then we heard someone operating and announcing something in the entire school.

 

 

 

“ I would like to ask the staff to please clean the field and also want to congratulate our school for winning this game “ He announced

 

 

 

Then he cleared his throat and announced something again that made everyone scream in joy too.

 

 

 

“ All students should prepare now cause we’re going to celebrate the victory party and prom in the field so that you can enjoy what will the school will prepare for it. Look forward on a good prom y’all! Let’s rock!! “ 

 

 

 

I can’t believe the President will throw a huge party in the field at the same time the university prom.

 

 

 

“ We need to have a total make over so that boys will fetch us “ Jisoo said

 

 

 

“ What? I thought you want Chaeyoung to know you? “ 

 

 

 

“ Can’t i like boys too?! “ 

 

 

 

Then i laughed and told her i’ll just go towards Lisa who is now somewhere in the team cause i can’t find her in the crowd.

 

 

 

I was just about to go downstairs but she surprisingly hold my hand and smiled at me as she pull me.

 

 

 

“ Oops, i pulled you so much. I smell sweat, Sorry “ Lisa said

 

 

 

But still i hugged her very tight and look at her right ear if she wears the hearing aid i gave her.

 

 

 

It really made me smile when i saw her using it.

 

 

 

“ I’m so gross, Jennie. “ she said but i still felt her hand wrap unto my waist as she hugged me too.

 

 

 

“ I don’t care! So proud of you!! “ I jump excitedly 

 

 

 

“ Thanks “ She smiled at me

 

 

 

I can feel my heart starts to beat faster as she stare at me with that smile on her face.

 

 

 

“ What are you going to tell me by the way? “ i asked

 

 

 

Then she was snap out of reality and kinda had this worry face as she gulp.

 

 

“ I was about to tell you that my parents will be here la- later“ Lisa stuttered.

 

 

What?

 

 

“ I’ll be out later before the prom starts “ She added

 

 

 

“ Oh “

 

 

 

That’s the only word let out in my mouth.

 

 

 

“ What time are you going to go there? “ i asked

 

 

 

She shrugged.

 

 

 

“ It depends “

 

 

 

“ Should i wait for you? “ i asked again

 

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

 

I just nodded and smiled.

 

 

 

“ Can we go now? And prepare? “ I asked

 

 

 

She shook her head again.

 

 

 

“ I’ll be preparing with the other members “ Lisa answered

 

 

 

I just nodded and try my best not to show her how disappointed i am.

 

 

 

But then she put my hand on her arm as she wrap it herself.

 

 

Then her teammates walk towards us and inviting her for a meal.

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

“ You guys go, we’ll be out for a while “ Lisa answered

 

 

 

What?

 

 

 

“ Where are we going? “ i whispered

 

 

 

And everyone was smirking.

 

 

 

“ So Jennie is your endgame? “ Jeongyeon asked

 

 

 

Moonbyul was about to disagree but Seulgi cover and smiled at us.

 

 

 

“ Don’t mind this . Go and spread love “ Seulgi smiled while covering Moonbyul’s mouth

 

 

 

Lisa shook her head.

 

 

 

“ I just want to eat with Jennie since we kinda didn’t see each other that much because of training “ She answered

 

 

 

“ Go “ Jeongyeon smiled

 

 

 

Then Lisa wave her hand and tell them goodbye as i do also.

 

 

 

We both walk out from the crowd and everybody was looking at us as i cling my hand on her arm like what she wanted to.

 

 

 

“ Treat me tteokbokki please? “ she said with a little bit of aegyo

 

 

 

Aigoo.

 

 

 

“ Okay okay. Since you’re the mvp for this game then i should reward you “ I smiled

 

 

 

“ Thanks “ she smiled

 

 

 

I waited for Lisa to finish since she need to take a shower since she’s been bragging how gross she is but it’s okay.

 

 

She’s not like the other athletes who really smell her perfume really is interesting like you can more smell it when she sweat.

 

 

That’s why i didn’t think twice when i hugged her because i can smell her perfume.

 

 

 

And when she finished, we quickly leave the dorm and university to eat tteokbokki a meter away from the university gate.

 

 

“ Can we go shopping too? “ Lisa asked

 

 

I smiled.

 

 

“ Is that even a question, Lisa? “ 

 

 

 

Then she giggled.

 

 

 

“ I’m asking tho. “

 

 

 

I nodded and she smiled.

 

 

 

“ Good. Cause i decided you should go with me later “ 

 

 

 

“ We’re cleared that i’ll be your prom date right? “ I asked

 

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

“ Nope, you’re going with me to meet my parents “

“ Lisa, i can’t. Why? I mean that’s nerve wrecking “ I said

 

 

 

“ Relax “ she laughed

 

 

 

“ They’re normal ones and they don’t bite don’t worry “ Lisa added

 

 

We do ordered tteokbokki at the same time we do talk about what we are going to dress later and we’re going  straight to this restaurant we’re her parents will be waiting.

 

 

 

I also buy some stuff to give to her parents since she’s buying too.

 

 

 

“ What does your parents like? “ I asked

 

 

 

“ Like what? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ Like what they do for a living? “ 

 

 

 

Lisa was smelling these candles that she wants to buy for her mom since she likes candles with aroma.

 

 

 

“ They’re both business persons and they’re kind of busy probably but then they still keep in touch with me “ Lisa answered

 

 

 

“ Why are you here by the way? “ 

 

 

 

Then Lisa laughed.

 

 

 

“ Because i study here? “ she said in an unsure voice

 

 

 

“ I mean you can just study in thailand, why korea? “ i asked

 

 

 

“ My parent’s cannot afford to send me to school before and the university watch me play soccer and recruit me. They told my mom that all are free as long as i train and play for them, so i grab the opportunity though i don’t know how to speak in korean “ she answered

Maybe she just stayed in dorm in holidays because she can’t go to her home.

 

 

 

“ On chuseok i’ll invite you to our house to spend holiday and you’re welcome going there if ever “ i said

 

 

She shook her head.

 

 

 

“ I can just stay in dorm “

“ It’s all boring yknow “ 

 

 

 

“ I’m used to it actually. “

“ You should accompany me on holidays since i’m the only daughter and i know you’ren just one call away “ 

 

 

 

Lisa just smiled.

Then we both look around more i the department store as she buy lots of stuff to give and she was really generous enough to buy a lot.

 

 

 

We both ate tteokbokki and fish cakes as we enjoy the busy streets around.

 

 

 

“ Aren’t you bored being alone? “ i asked

 

 

 

She frowned.

 

 

 

“ It’s not bad being alone “

 

 

 

“ I mean aren’t you sick of being single? “

 

 

 

She laughed 

 

 

 

“ At some time i just like how to walk alone and i’m not the person who really gets bitter when i see couples around “ 

 

 

 

But her and Chaeyoung before.

“ Well i used to date Chaeyoung but not officially, I know how it feels and yes it was so good to hang out with the one you like “
