Damned AngelThud, thud, thud, this was now a familiar sound to me. I went onto my balcony and signalled for him to come up. “One day your supernatural strength is going to break my window. Why do you keep tossing stones instead of just flying up like a normal angel?”, I asked. “Throwing rocks”, he mumbled so softly I almost didn’t hear, “It’s better this way… what if Danny were here?”, he sat on the railing. I hated being outside, 3 floors high. My fear of heights made my knees weak. He was the only reason I had been spending so much time in this spot. “I come bearing news; not good news though. Well maybe sorta, kind of, almost, possibly, rather good news”, it had been a while since I heard him speak that way. I had missed it. “We found Jinyoung. Well we think we found Jinyoung or at least one of their lairs. Sewoon spotted him and followed him back to a remote area. The rest of Jae’s coven is going to check it out tomorrow”. “Are you guys not going with them?”, a part of me wanted his coven to go so there was back up for the other coven, but a bigger part of me wanted Seongwoo far away from anything life threatening.
“No, they are just going to get a feel of the place. Shouldn't be too dangerous”, he explained, “I just wanted to keep you updated”. He opened up his wings, ready to take off. “Ong…wait... uhm…", I struggled to get out the words, "What would happen if humans found out about angels?”. “Angels like Jae’s coven will handle it and clean up any mess that has been made”, he said. “Okay, but that’s if the angel world was exposed mistakenly right?”, he looked at me confused by what I was asking. “Any exposure to humans will be fixed up”, he confirmed. "What if it was exposed on purpose?“, I looked at my feet. "What did you do?’, he asked in an accusative tone. “Nothing!”, I insisted.
