Chapter 3
Damned Angel“Run Tris”, a blurry voice said with a face I could not see, “I need you to run”. And so I tried, I tried to run but I couldn’t. My feet refused to move. “Tris”, the voice called out again. Why couldn’t I see the face behind this voice? Why couldn't I hear the voice more clearly? I tried to run again, unsure of why I needed to, but it didn’t work. I was stuck. “Tris”, this voice sounded more familiar, “Tris, wake up”, the voice said. “Tris, you are late for work”, Ash yelled out.
“Woman, its 11:45, you are late”, Ash said when I finally opened my eyes. “Oh ”, I said jumping out of bed and hopping into the shower. “Jihyo called now”, Ash said through the shower curtain, “she asked if you were okay, because she tried calling the store and there was no answer.
