“Is she alive?” was the first thing Dahyun asked when her attorney arrived. She was too desperate to know if Sana was okay. 2 weeks in prison without any news about Sana left her infuriated and anxious.

“Nice to meet you too, Kim Dahyun.” the woman smiled, albeit too calm for her liking.

“I asked you, Is she ing alive?!” Dahyun asked, now furious because how can her attorney act so calm when Sana was just shot.

Her attorney sat in front of her, still too calm and composed.

“Yes Dahyun. Sana is alive.” she answered. “But…”

“Oh for ’s sake, what?!” she slammed the table hardly earning a sigh from the woman in front of her.

“Sana has Retrograde Amnesia. The inability to retrieve information that was acquired before a particular date, usually the date of an accident or operation. She can’t remember some memories closer to the traumatic incident may it be weeks or months. Which means…” her attorney paused, staring at Dahyun’s rage-filled eyes,

“.. she can’t remember You.”

2 years have passed after the incident.
2 years filled with anger, sorrow and guilt.
2 years without any news about Sana.

Her Sana.

Her attorney had told her that the shooting was an accident. The police were ordered ‘shoot to kill’ but unfortunately, it was Sana that they saw first.

“Jeongyeon, I told you I don’t want to be disturbed right now.” Dahyun told at the woman in front of her.

“Oh shut up, dubs. What are you even doing that you don’t want to be disturbed? All you can do is pace back and forth in your cell or I don’t know, maybe you’re making plan on ‘how to escape this cold prison like a ninja’ in your stupid notebook again?” Jeongyeon said in just one breathing.
“I’m your attorney and I’m here to talk to you about your case.”
