My impression

This right here is one of the cutest novels I have ever read, the image of a hamster doing things that humans would is just unbelievably adorable, ahh I wish I could see it in a manga or anime, that would be *meltdown*. And just the relationship between the human, Yan Jin, and the hamster, Xiao Yu, is so freaking adorable, cute, awwwww. Just cuteness overall. Anyway, the characters are pretty well developed and the story flows pretty nicely and naturally. There're only 80+ chapters as of right now, and that's not even third of the full novel so it's just starting to get into some kind of a backstory? Not really sure, but there seems to be some mystery building up as of now, hmmm.

And also props for the translator for updating 3 chapters a week, and best is the hamster images at the end that they put, it really is cute to see and they always kind of represent what happened in the chapter. (Like scared hamster when he gets some kind of a scare, etc., very sweet and cute. <3)

And actually, the summary represents their personalities pretty well, although the story is a tad bit different than it may seem from it, just a taaad, just one little detail. :D
