Seungcheol was exhausted, the work loads he had for the past few weeks had taken toll on his body. He was barely home and when finally he had time to be home he would spend it by sleeping. He missed his small family, so when finally he has time to runaway from work early he drove his car fast and managed to reach his son’s kindergarten hoping to get there faster than Jihoon but he was wrong about that when he spotted Jihoon’s car was already parked there, Seungcheol grinned happily, he would arrange to get his car get picked up by others and let himself drive his small family maybe to the nearest park or go out for dinner. He jogged to his son’s class grinning happily, he could imagine Samuel happy face to see him finally picked him up after weeks let Jihoon become the driver of their son. Seungcheol grinned wider when he spotted his son was already with his spouse, he was about to jog faster when he spotted a guy standing in front of Jihoon and they were chatting happily with Jihoon laugh heard here and there. The laugh Seungcheol’s had been missed and now he heard it because Jihoon was talking to another guy. Suddenly Seungcheol felt like he was being useless, what was the point of working so hard for his family when eventually he wasn’t the one who could make them laugh? Seungcheol lost in his own thought didn’t realise Samuel spotted him from far

“Daddy!!!” Samuel let go Jihoon’s hand grip and ran to Seungcheol let himself get picked up to Seungcheol’s embrace, Seungcheol quickly forced a laugh and hugged Samuel tightly

“Hello my smart boy, how was school today?” Seungcheol gave a kiss to Samuel and the 5 years old squirmed in excitement

“Daddy not working?” Samuel asked ignored Seungcheol’s question

“I did my work faster so I can pick you up” Seungcheol grinned, from Samuel’s shoulder he saw Jihoon looked at him in surprised but eventually it turned into a gentle smile, the younger didn’t approach him though but let himself be immersed with the conversation he had with the stranger so Seungcheol reluctantly walked closer to them because it would be rude to just ignore the person no matter how jealous he was then

“Cheol, this is Mr. Kim, Samuel’s new teacher, Mr. Kim this is my -“

“I’m Choi Seungcheol, thank you for taking care of Samuel” Again, Seungcheol forced a polite smile

“Nice to meet you Mr. Choi, and Jihoon, stop calling me Mr. Kim, I told you to just call me Seunghoon” The young teacher grinned and for a moment Seungcheol wished he could punch that smily face from the teacher, before Jihoon could say anything Seungcheol already put his arm around Jihoon distracted him

“I’m so sorry Mr. Kim but we need to go somewhere and we will be late, nice to meet you and see you around” Seungcheol bowed slightly and dragged a confused Jihoon to his car

“Explain” Jihoon hissed from his passenger seat when Seungcheol drove them away from the school when Seungcheol remained silent Jihoon sighed “So after you did something impolite to Samuel’s teacher you decided to remain silent? Fine! We could stay silent the whole year” Jihoon looked outside the window

“Explain what? There’s nothing to be explained” Seungcheol rubbed his head in frustrated manner

“Oh? So after a bad example in front of your son you think it wasn’t worth an explanation?” Jihoon turned around and found Seungcheol bit his lips clearly trying to avoid the conversation

“We are not fighting with Samuel around” Seungcheol looked behind for a moment was glad when the boy was sleeping on his seat

“Awesome, so you decided that it wasn’t ok to fight in front of our son but it was ok to act so immature in front of him?!” Jihoon whispered but anger clearly heard from his tone

“We will talk after we’ve reached home” Seungcheol said before he shut his mouth and the drive to their home never felt this painful before

Jihoon didn’t even wait until Seungcheol went out from his car before he stormed inside the home let Seungcheol carried Samuel alone to their home, Seungcheol sighed watching Jihoon’s back disappeared from his view. He carried the sleeping boy into his room and put him on his own bed. Seungcheol sat next to Samuel’s bed, watching the boy sleeping peacefully and Seungcheol had missed this moment for weeks, he caressed Samuel’s hair gently feeling the soft hair under his skin, God he would do anything to keep Samuel grows happily in this world, to keep him safe and to make all his wishes come true. Seungcheol watched the boy fondly didn’t realise time had passed for nearly 30 minutes, so many thought running through his mind while he let himself getting calmed just by watching his son sleeping. Seungcheol stood up from his position didn’t forget to leave a kiss on Samuel’s forehead before that and walked out getting ready to solve the problem he had with the love of his life, Jihoon.

He expected Jihoon to be sulking in front of his laptop or hiding himself inside their bedroom or throwing their pillows everywhere but he was actually surprised when he found the younger was standing in front of the big window facing their mini garden. The view was breathtaking, no matter how tired he was he didn’t forget to take a picture of Jihoon from behind. Right after he put away his phone Seungcheol walked closer to Jihoon he took a deep breath and stood beside Jihoon he actually expected Jihoon to move away but the younger stood still acted as if Seungcheol wasn’t even there. They spent nearly 10 minutest just stood side by side, normally it would be a comfortable silent but this time the air around them was so suffocating Seungcheol wished to clear it right away

“I’m sorry” Seungcheol opened up the conversation, when Jihoon remained silent Seungcheol continued “I was being ridiculous, again” Seungcheol stared at Jihoon beside him who still looked at the view in front of him “And yes, I was jealous” Seungcheol confessed

“I’m pissed, you dare to do that in front of Samuel” Jihoon sighed 

“I tried not to, you know that… but this time… I don’t know, maybe I was too tired, I was actually hoping to reach before you and surprised you but you’ve reached first and I was thinking three of us could go out for a short trip before home but yeah I again was blinded my jealousy when I saw that my little family was actually having a good time without me, I was immature, I’m sorry” Seungcheol rubbed his eyes feeling worse than ever. Jihoon didn’t say anything, he turned around and found his husband was indeed looked worn out and all the angers vanished just like that

“We could’ve gone for that short trip if you didn’t being ridiculous thinking a nice married teacher was trying to make a move on me” Jihoon sighed “We can still go out for dinner you know, if you are not too tired” Seungcheol put down his hand covering his eyes and stared at Jihoon with his big puppy eyes

“For real? You are not angry anymore?!” Seungcheol’s excited voice nearly made Jihoon laughed but he managed to maintain his stern face

“Depending on where you are treating us tonight, you know I’m not cheap” Jihoon said before he walked off with Seungcheol smiling behind, the older immediately ran and hugged Jihoon from behind

“Of course not, you are the most expensive guy in this world, you deserve a pizza” Seungcheol kissed Jihoon from the side with Jihoon laughing on his arm, he turned around Jihoon and kissed him “So baby, will you go out with me tonight for a pizza date?” Seungcheol winked

“You know my weakness so well, how could I say no to pizza?” Jihoon grinned but it didn’t last long before Seungcheol kissed the day out of him 

“I love you so much” Seungcheol whispered in between their kiss

“Idem” Jihoon said before he let himself get dragged to their bedroom

I love you I love you I love you, it is so scary to think how easy it is for me to do ridiculous things for you, because baby you are the only one I love and I will make sure I am the only one you love too for the rest of our live… 

“Hey baby, shall we make our baby #2 now?”
