No matter how nice it sounds like… Jihoon will never let Choi Seungcheol to do groceries by himself again

“Are you sure you are ok? I can just go after meeting, it won’t take long anyway” Jihoon offered

“Ya, you should trust your husband more” Seungcheol flicked Jihoon’s forehead gently

“Remember the last time I trust you and it turns into a disaster? Do you want me to list it down for you? All those time I trusted you but your ruined it?” Jihoon looked unconvinced and Seungcheol had to give him a ‘sad’ puppy eyes

“Those were happened in the past, anyway I have extra help today, our little helper will help me today right Sammy?” Seungcheol crouched down to the same level as Samuel and did a high five with the 5 years old boy

“Yup! Don’t worry appa! I will help daddy so he won’t be lost! You trust me more than daddy right?” Samuel laughed when Seungcheol glared at him

“Alright alright, you both better go off now then, I’ll see you both at home, be good ok Sammy? Take care of your daddy” Jihoon laughed this time when Seungcheol yelled ‘ya’ to him “Take care, don’t get unnecessary things and don’t let Samuel get too much sweets, just get whatever I have listed down ok”

“I told you, don’t worry I will remember all your instructions, let’s go Sammy!” Seungcheol gave quick kiss on Jihoon’s lips and took Samuel’s hand into his walked out together hand in hand from Jihoon’s office while Jihoon watching two of them leaving from the doorway

“Is that Samuel? Ah… why didn’t you tell me I would’ve come earlier” Jeonghan said as he passed by Jihoon’s room and watched Samuel’s back getting further away from them “Why do you have that kind of expression? What happened?” Jeonghan asked as he saw his colleague looked uneasy

“I’m worried”

“Why? What happened?” Jeonghan looked worried too

“They are going to do groceries together”

“Isn’t that good?”

“No it’s not good, this is the first time Seungcheol do groceries alone and somehow I feel something will happen” Jihoon sighed, he shook his head trying to erase all the uneasy feeling and went in back to his room preparing for end of semester meeting

“Uh what kind of detergent do we use? Why do they have different types? What kind of scent?” Seungcheol stared blankly at the detergent rack in front of him, ‘this isn’t good… there are too many things to buy and I’ve already spent 30 minutes just for a soap’ Seungcheol sighed, he wanted to prove to Jihoon that he could be a good help too, as the ‘head’ of the family he wanted to show Jihoon that he’s capable of doing some house chores

“Daddy, I want to see toys” Samuel tugged Seungcheol’s coat

“Later baby, we still need to get all the things appa has listed” Seungcheol said still staring at the detergent rack silently cursed his luck

“But I’m bored” Sammy whispered and pouted when Seungcheol didn’t change his attention to him

“Daddy, I have good idea!” Sammy said suddenly

“What is it?” Seungcheol finally turned around from the detergent and looked at his son

“How about I go find few things on the list and daddy can find the rest? It will be faster” Samuel suggested

“No baby, what if you get lost?” Seungcheol frowned clearly unhappy from the plan

“Nooo… I mean daddy can stay in this rack first and I look for the milk, it will be faster” Samuel gave Seungcheol his best puppy eyes and Seungcheol started to think that maybe it was a good idea since he still needed to figure out which brand Jihoon used. But it was a wrong move

“Thanks God you guys are back, why did it take so long?” Jihoon frowned when he saw Seungcheol and Samuel went into their house

“All is good, all is good, we just had so much fun right Sammy?” Seungcheol asked nervously when Jihoon looked at him suspiciously

“Yeah, we had a great time!” Samuel grinned and Jihoon walked closer to his son

“Why your eyes look swollen and red, did anything bite you just now? And wait… isn’t this ice cream stain on your uniform Sammy?” Jihoon glared at Seungcheol after that, he knew something was off

“Nothing really, it was just a stain when he accidentally crashed into a boy with ice cream at the supermarket just now” Seungcheol was reasoned out buy Jihoon wasn’t buying that

“Sammy, tell appa everything that happened” Jihoon brought the 5 years old boy to the sofa and sat in front of him “Come on, you know a good boy will never lie, spill everything whatever daddy told you forget it, whatever ridiculous promise he said ignore it, just tell appa everything” Jihoon looked stern and angelic at the same time, a strategy that always works whenever he wanted Samuel to be honest with him

“Well…” Samuel was about to look up to his daddy who looked pale but Jihoon blocked the view

“Tell me” Jihoon said once again

“Daddy is sorry Sammy, I forgot we supposed to meet at the detergent rack, it’s ok at least I found you now, you were scared weren’t you? I’m sorry but daddy is here now, come on stop crying” Seungcheol cradled his son on his lap bouncing the boy lightly, as what Seungcheol said, he forgot that he promised Samuel to wait him at the detergent rack and the 5 years old boy was shocked when he couldn’t find his daddy, he went around the supermarket but still couldn’t find him because it was a big place, Samuel gave up and cried brought the attention from the people around who brought him to the lost child area. Seungcheol was choosing sausage brand when he heard announcement for him about Samuel he immediately left his trolley and ran to find his son

“I was scared daddy” Samuel said in between his sobs

“But you are ok now, I’m sorry baby, I’m sorry really… but can you not tell appa about this? Daddy still wants to be alive you know” Seungcheol said while rubbing Samuel’s back “Daddy will buy big ice cream for you and let’s keep it a secret from appa ok?” At the mention of his favorite desserts Samuel stopped crying and nodded gently, he put up his pinky finger and Seungcheol linked it with his satisfied with the results

Jihoon listened to Samuel’s story while trying to hold his anger, did Seungcheol just taught his son to lie to him? That was extremely wrong. Jihoon stood up and brought Samuel on his hand

“Baby…” Seungcheol called out but Jihoon remained silent, the older sat on the sofa didn’t dare to follow Jihoon to his room he knew better than to disturb an angry tiger “Where are you going?” Seungcheol immediately stood up when he saw Jihoon was carrying a bag from their bedroom and was already on his coat with his car’s key on his left hand while Samuel on his right hand

“I’m staying at my parent’s place with Samuel until you reflect on what have you done wrong”

“WHAT?! Don’t do that baby please, don’t leave me alone” Seungcheol begging while following Jihoon behind him but the younger didn’t even look at him “I’M REALLY SORRY BABY,  I WON’T DO THAT ANYMORE NO DON’T GO!!!!!” Seungcheol screamed was the last thing Jihoon heard before he drove away to his parent’s place

“Deserves him right” Jihoon rolled his eyes
