Chapter 5

" HOY IRENE!"

With that,you came back to your senses.

Your attention drifted from the DSLR back to the screen of your laptop.

Geez.

Nagzone - out ka pala.

" ano uli sabi mo wends? " you asked innocently as you gently placed the DSLR beside you.

" kanina pa ako ditong nagsasalita hindi ka pala nakikinig " she rolled her eyes then she let out a disbelief sigh.
" ano bang meron sa DSLR mo at kanina ka pang ngumingiting ewan dyan? nako,natatakot na ko ha "

Oo nga pala,nung hindi mo na na-contain  ang kilig mo,you called your bestfriend - Son Wendy through skype and you were about to show her Kang's pic na miraculously na nakangiti, a smile that was warm,cheerful and real(na pinaghirapan mo talagang kuhanan ng litrato that you even took almost 1 hour ata rin).But at the end of the time,you weren't able to show her nevertheless,since dumapo nanaman sa pagiisip mo yung mga nakakakilig nakakatawang ganap sa locker room na kasama sya.

" nakangiti? 'di ah " you said awkwardly.

You adjusted you laptop to let Wendy see your face properly,nakatilted kasi kanina.

" mamatay? " she knocked trice on her palm which means she didn't buy your lame excuse.

As usual naman eh.

Ano pa ba maasahan mo?

Di mo nga alam kung nakalunok yung mga kaibigan mo ng lie detector at laging nalalaman kung kailan ka nagsisinungaling.

...or masyado ka lang talaga ka-obvious?

You covered your face with your hands in embarrassment...guilty ka nga naman po kasi.

" wag mong sabihin nakipagbalikan ka sa ugok mong ex-boyfriend kaya ka nagkakaganyan?" natatawa nyang tanong sa'yo while scooping her food.

You guessed na nasa peyborit nyong tambayan sya tumatambay,base na rin sa background na nakikita mo sa paligid nya.

" spell ASA? " you exclaimed as you jerked your hands away from your face.

Yung dating parang tanga kang hindi makamove-on sa ex mo....ngayon,you don't know even what has gotten into you at parang diring-diri ka na.

" may naalala lang ako na nakakatawa kanina sa badminton court okay? " you defended.

Naku nakakatawa daw...nakakakilig kamo.

She scoffed.

" don't me rene,don't me " she shook her head disapprovingly.

Kilalang-kilala ka nya na talaga no?

" AH! " She clasped her hand together animatedly as her face lightened up in instant as if she remembered something causing you to look her with quizzical expression.
" speaking of badminton..." she paused.

She pushed a morsel of her food into before talking again.
" may sinabi sakin si director about this certain transferee na itu-tutor nating dyalhawahh ffppor oonn--"

Napapan mong pasama nang pasama yung mukha ni Wendy habang nagsasalita ito so you decided to ask her what's wrong.

" okay ka lan--" 

" SHEEETT ANG ANGHANG! " 

Biglang humarurot paalis si Wendy,nadagi pa nya yung laptop nya kaya naiba yung anggulo ng view mo.

Because of shock and bewilderment,you froze for a sec.

You snorted at her silliness after recovering from what just happened.

' yan tuloy oorder-order,di naman pala alam kung anong inoorder ' you chuckled.

You rested  your back at the head board of your bed.

While waiting for her comeback,naalala mo yung sinabi ni Wendy kakanina-kanina lang.

' transaferee? badminton? '

However,you did not have enough time to ponder on it 'cause unexpectedly.....nahagip ng camera yung taong kinamumuhian mo.

You even cringed at the sight.

Pinakita nanaman sa'yo ni tadhana ang taong tumapak,dumurog at nagpulbos ng puso mo and yeah also featuring her another girlfriend na higad este na parang higad na nakapulupot sa ex mong unggoy.

Kahit sobrang sweer nila as in to the point na masusuka kung sino mang  bitter ang makakakita...

You couldn't put your finger on it...but you were sure it has no effect on you. 

Na hindi ka nagseselos pero inaamin mong naiinis ka lang.

Naiinis,hindi dahil hindi ka nya pinili kundi nakuha nyang ipagsabay ang dalawang babae.

Sino bang hindi maiinis sa ganun,di ba?

I-tuturn off mo na sana yung laptop mo pero di mo na rin tinuloy dahil umalis na din naman yung dawalang yun sa paningin mo.

You heaved a sigh of relief.

Silence started to arise as you feel cozy at the same time but  you nearly jump out of skin when Wendy popped her head creepily at the screen.

Gago naman.

You heard hysterical laughs from her.

" ANO BA WENDY! " You whined and felt your temper rapidly rising,
" kita mo'to? " you balled up your right hand into a fist and you positioned it right in front of the camera.

That made Wendy laugh even more.

" bagay na bagay sa pagmumukha mo'to " you threatened as you tried to look tough.

Yet Wendy seemed not affected after all,still laughing her head off.

You could only pull your hair out in defeat.

Magsasalita ka pa sana nung biglang nag-black-out yung screen mo.

You moved the curser immediately para i-check kung lowbat na yung laptop mo.

It lit up.

So you suspected yung kay Wendy yung na-lowbat.

Buti nalang.

Wala ka na rin kasi sa mood.

You mentally noted to punch her face tomorrow morning.

Having no choce,nagbukas ka nalang ng tab para mag-facebook - to kill the remaining time of yours before drifting off to your dreamland.

At the exact time,kaka-update lang din ng page ng School nyo.

Naks.

Nag-iba yung mood mo.

Paano ba naman kasi...akalain mong bungad na bungad pa lang..

Siya nanaman.

You were just too enchanted to speak up as you were just staring her face once again ( KahitNakapokerFaceSyaSaPhotoWhileHoldingHerTrophy-YetStillYouFoundItCute)

As soon as it registered to your senses,you let out a little scream.

You just couldn't help it.

Para kang proud na magulang na makita mo yung anak mong may medal at trophy.

Di mo ma-explain or kung anong tamang salita para i-describe yung nararamdaman mo.

Yet on the other hand,you felt irritated too.

Dami ba naman kasing nagtatanong tungkol sa personal na impormasyon tungkol sa kanya.

Aba naman.

Sabihin mo nga sa kanila na nasa sa'yo yung jersey ni Kang,para ipagmukhaang wala sila panama sa'yo.

You mentally thanked your School's Page for tagging Kang's facebook account along with the photo.

Kaya ngayon...eto di mo na tinantanan yung facebook account nya.

As you what expected,konti lang yung uploaded photos nya unlike sa tagged photos nya from her relatives.

You actually wanted to hit the like button in every photo of her yet you pushed off that thought 'cause you thought it will just creep her out.

Na ayaw mo namang mangyari.

While you were in the the midst of your stalk...

You caught something interesting.

" Oh gosh "

 You gathered all your things and grabbed your bag.

Kakadismiss lang ng teacher nyo sa inyo,so ayun aligaga yung mga classmates mong umuwi and so were you.

Hindi mo pa kasi tapos mag-stalk sa kanya.

You wonder if she do have tweeter acct.,tumblr acct.,instagram acct., or anything that has something to do with her 'cause you were madly curious if she ever had a girlfriend.

Yup ' Girlfriend '

Nalaman mo kasi na ' she's proud and out biual '

Cluelessly,that made you happy.

Di ba nga iniisa-isa mo pa yung mga nakaraang post nya kung may namemention syang girlfriend nya.

Pero di mo na rin nalaman kasi nakatulog ka na rin dahil sa pagod.

Sa wakas,nasa hallway ka na but before you could take a step away,a voice was heard.

" Irene? " 

Looking at the person who called your name,you frowned.

Pero napalitan agad ito ng tuwa nung nakilala mo kung sino yung tumawag sa'yo.

" Uy S-seulgi " you stuttered,nalaman mo yung first name nya nung nag-stalk ka na sa kanya.

Kinilig ka naman?

Teka nga muna.

Paano nya nalaman yung pangalan mo aber?

"Bakit nandito? "you smiled meekly as you pushed some hair strands behind your ear.

" ah eh " panimula nya.

She looked into your eyes timidly.

You nodded your head to encourage her to go on while still putting the neutral face kahit kinikilig ka na ewan.

" pwede ka ba ngayon?"

" pardon? "

" pwede ka ba sa bahay? "

Ano yun wala pang date-date sa ibabahay mo na agad?

" Ang ibig kong sabihin,kung pwede mo na ba akong itutor ngayon? "

" ah ...tutor "
