the piper of Hamelin
To be humanThe real problem of being a zombie is that everyone gets scared of you, like everyone. Kyla couldn’t help but feel hopeless at the thought of not meeting the pretty girl again. She felt something the first time her eyes lie in the form of that human. It was as if her heart jumped, her stomach protesting loudly at the need of meat. A part of kyla wants to sink her teeth on that milky white skin, and drink the blood oozing for the scratches, enjoy the sound of wail.
But, at the same time, a blur of a memory of another time made her want to puke, made her want to know the girl better and what?
Learn from a human what the beating of the heart means.
Maybe she should continue her search of Roa and forget what she saw, but before that, she badly needs to wash up a little.
The "girl" limped towards the lake, her foot made sounds as the dirt moved with it. She kneeled in the same position Xiyeon was and remembered how Roa taught her to wash up, maybe would be better if she just swims trough the waterm hoping for it to cleab the remains of the meal away.
She couldn’t tell if the temperature of the water was cold or warm, it felt the same to her. But Roa always said that she preferred to take a warm shower, and Kyla wanted to imagine how the warmth feel like.
She jumped into the lake, an a groan like giggle escaped her dry lips. It didn't felt refreshing but certainly felt different. She took water with her hands and rubbed her face with it. The young "girl" stared as the water turned brown from the dirt of her body.
She stayed a couple of hours playing around like a kid on the water.
After the morning became afternoon, she got out of the lake and crashed down onto the floor, she lie down like that with her limps sprawled over, waiting for her clothes to dry over. Other thing she learned from Roa, the girl was a clean freak and diligently washed up their clothes.
Another set of hours passed by, and Kyla felt the loneliness creeping again. Her face scrunched in pain at the thought of Roa leaving her behind, now that she knows how it feels to have company, she cant help but be scared of being alone again.
A crunch, and the smell of a human nearby. Her body tensed, as if ready to attack. The sound of a pair of boots walking, and a breathless sound.
Kyla didn't want to get up, afraid to face Jieqiong and her sly ways.
"Hey" a rough voice with a slight lisp spoke.
Kyla sniffed again. It was a human, not the same smell that follows Jieqiong, as rotten as Kyla.
"I am talking to you?" The voice asked, and Kyla didn't move an inch fro
