CHAPTER 36

AMBER’S POV

It’s finally the day of our departure, Jessica unnie and Yuri, Ju-hyun and Luna drove us to the airport to say goodbye.

Luna will be staying for another week before returning to Korea. We still have 2 weeks before the Spring term starts so she’s going to make the most out of her vacation with Ju-hyun. Ayieee….~~~ making sure that the two of them will have a memorable time together before she comes back after the Spring Term.

I’m happy for both of them… seeing how Ju-hyun really changed for the better. Our friendship has been revived and forgiveness already given, especially now that she and Krystal has formed a bond knowing that they are sisters. I admire Luna and Ju-hyun’s young but beautiful relationship. Full of understanding, support, and love for one another.

Luna is a person who motivates Ju-hyun and shower her with love and affection, care and understanding. While Ju-hyun is a person who reminded Luna that life is beautiful if she will open her heart… and she did.

I understand this is the first time for both of them to have this kind of relationship but it feels like they have been together for years by the way they act. They are so cute like what Krys said, the mischievous and play girl Luna became a loving and thoughtful Luna who is now thinking of finally following what her heart desires.

All our baggage are already checked in and we are just waiting for our boarding time. Jessica unnie and Ju-hyun are talking with Krystal, the eldest giving her reminders about her pregnancy.

Ju-hyun asking her to send a box of Ssamyang Cheese Ramyun for her stock. She got a pinch from Luna saying that its full of preservatives.

“Hey Amber..” Yuri whispered at me.

“Yes Yul?”

“When are you and Krys coming back?” she asked me grinning. The two of us formed a bond in our short stay here, she’s a real friendly and good person. Both of us has this love for books and learning, I also like the fact that we can talk about news and current events even history without batting an eyelash.

“Hmmm… maybe in a long time Yul, but when that day comes… the babies will be with us for sure! So little Sophie will have some playmates! Right baby?” I asked Sophie giving her a pinch on her cute cheeks. “Yah! Visit us in Seoul once Krys gives birth! We want you guys there!”

“Hahaha! Will do, I haven’t visited Korea for 3 years… I miss Seoul and the Pojang Machas hehehe…” we laughed at each other and did a high five.

“Don’t worry, we’ll visit one the moment you, Jess, and Sophie comes home. We’ll drink all the Soju they have and drain the Pojang Macha dry!” Hehehe…. that will be good!

“Awww!” Ouch~ that hurts…

“Yah! You two! Already planning ahead, huh?!”

Yuri was controlling her laugh when she saw me rubbing the back of my head that my sister in-law smacked with her small but heavy hands. I think her hands and feet are made of steel, even her kicks are deadly!

I thought I’m gonna lose consciousness yesterday! If she’s not Krystal’s sister I may have fight back hehehe….

It wasn’t our fault that they arrived unannounced in our hotel room when my wife and I are still basking in our after glow! I was still hoping for another 2 rounds when she came knocking at our door! We haven’t done some loving for 3 days because of being busy and Krys was tired whenever we will come back to our hotel room. Even though I feel some animalistic urge inside me while I dress her up on those nights seeing her perfect -baby-bump body, I respect my wife and I don’t want to use her just for my own release.

But yes, I did planned that tease on her yesterday…

It almost backfired at me when she started requesting that I dance the Genie dance steps. There was a moment I was going to give in but I controlled myself not to because I don’t have practice ehem.

Seeing her looking so beautiful sitting on the floor with a beautiful smile on her face while folding and arranging the baby clothes brings warmth and love to my heart. How happy she looks while looking at the shoes, the onesies, like she’s daydreaming that the twins are already wearing it.

It was a beautiful scene that I recorded in my mind that will stay there forever. Her happy smile and beautiful face, her laugh when I was teasing her is the most beautiful music I have ever heard. The way her body responded to my touches is making me so proud of myself, knowing that she’s mine and only mine.

Sigh…

And Sophie finding my toy in our bed is kinda funny calling it a massager. Yul came last night and I told her about what happened. She was laughing non-stop while we were at the balcony of our hotel room drinking beer while the four girls are inside.

She told me a similar thing like that already happened and it was Jessica’s fault why Sophie saw her toy. Jessica forgot to store it in its proper place after cleaning, leaving hers on top of the bathroom sink. Sophie probably went inside the bathroom and saw the THING, then went to the sleeping Jessica on the couch and smack her Mommy’s face with it hahaha!!!

“And you!” nyahahahaha!

“Awww!! Jess!” she also received a smack on her head from her wife. Whipped. Hahahaha!!!

I felt a hand softly caressing the back of my head and judging from the scent and reaction of my body, I know it’s my wife. She hugged me from behind, her arm around my waist as the other one caresses the part Jessica unnie hit. She rested her chin on my shoulder and whispered at me “Does it hurt?”

I turned my face at her and smiled shaking my head lightly “Nah… it’s okay.. just you doing that made the pain go away…” we made funny faces to each other and when she puckered her lips asking for a kiss I gave it to her. I love kissing her.. I love everything about Krystal Jung.

Months passed by so fast...

Krystal changed her mind at the last minute and retracted her leave for the Term. She said she doesn’t want to be alone inside our house everyday and anyways, Doctor Kim said she’s healthy and her pregnancy is safe.

So she decided to teach again with the 2 of us sharing the same office at the University. Both our earliest class starts at 8:00 am every Monday to Wednesday, her last class is at 5:00 pm while mine is at 6:00 pm, so she spends her time waiting for me in an hour inside our office checking test papers or sometimes playing her Nintendo Switch. Thursday and Friday we have classes until 3:00 pm then after that we’ll be heading home. Saturdays and Sundays are our rest days so we spend it together going to out of town trips or just hanging around doing some walking in the park or at Myeongdong or Itaewon doing some window shopping.

Before the Spring term ended, Krystal gave birth to our cute and chubby twins…

She was in the middle of a class lecture, even if it’s already her due date she still insisted to teach and because my wife is stubborn as a bull. Luckily, Wendy was in her class when her water broke which she didn’t notice until one of her students interrupts her lecture and pointed at the floor. Wendy narrated to me while we are in the hospital what happened. The class was in a panic! Imagine seeing your beloved Professor Jung due to give birth right in the front of the lecture hall!

Her guy classmates were all nervous not knowing what to do, except Haechan who was there and ran to our office hoping I was there. But I wasn’t because I was also having a lecture at the other building. He and Jaehyun bumped in the hallway, Jaehyun being my student assistant and together they ran to the lecture hall where I am conducting my class.

As soon as Haechan breathlessly said ‘Water broke’, I immediately dropped the book I am holding and made a dash going outside the hall and ran as fast as I can to the next building where Krystal is. Some of the students were cheering me as I ran in the hallway, they didn’t know I was already losing my breath running hahaha!!

When I arrived at the lecture hall where Krys is, the University medical team already arrived and ready to bring her to the hospital. We loaded her in the ambulance going to the hospital where Doctor Kim does her practice.

Krys was calm, she was holding my hand while we were in the ambulance while her other hand is caressing her big belly. Her contractions are still in big intervals so she’s still okay… as she says.
