Today, we learnt about combustion. The colours of how fires of different temperatures looked like.

They were pretty. 

Just like you.

Yellow   was the fire you see everywhere. It can be something small like the candle that you wished upon before blowing it out on your birthday cake or on a  slightly bigger scale like the campfire whereby you crowd around to sing and dance. 

Red  was probably much, much hotter. Does it not remind you of passion, rage, malice? All of the stronger emotions stemming from a human. Red fire were not as common but still, you could see it once in awhile. Forest fire? Burning of a house?  More than just a little bundle of destruction.

Blue  might be the most dangerous of all, despite being blue. The colour of serenity, peace and trust. Yet, it burns the hottest. It burns away things like trust. It burns away faith. It lured you thinking that it was nothing but an innocent fire, but it was much more. 

You reminded me of a blue-white flame. Always luring me in by your pretty looks. Always ended up getting myself burnt. Why do I never learn? Even though you were always so comforting and calming on certain days, but I will always have to remind myself that you will always be dangerous.
