I sat there playing with my fingers, trying to figure this all out. What should I do? What could I do? To say that this would never change things was a joke. That I wasn’t curious myself. Of course I was. I’d be crazy not to wonder if he’s been with someone else...in that manner.

Wanting to shut everything out, I closed my eyes. Just think about it. Does it really matter if he was with someone else? I mean...that was his past, but so were all the things we did.

It began it get fuzzy, my mind hazy. This should be called insanity, all these ridiculous thoughts in my head.  In attempt to forget, I waved my hand in the air. As if I was reassuring myself, it was nonsense.
