"We'll start the bid at $100." Baekhyun smiles as he gives Jongdae a knowing look.

  "$500!" A random lady shouts from behind Jongdae, causing him to drop his card to the ground.

  "Alright, we got $500, anyone up for $550?" Baekhyun announces, keeping a sneaky eye on Jongdae.

  "$600!" Another stranger shouts.

  "$700!" Another one from the far left from what Jongdae can hear as sits back up. He raises his card, a little smirk playing on his lips.

  "$1,000!" Jongdae's eyes widen a moment as his offering gets called out.

  "$2,000!" He practically screeches as another buyer raises the price. He feels happy, weirdly so, as the price goes up. Minseok should feel flattered, right?

  "$10,000!" Jongdae finally shouts before Baekhyun gets the chance to close the auction. From his peripheral vision, he can see Minseok"s eyes widen and cheeks turn the slightest pink.

  "$150,000!" A few murmurs swirl Jongdae, his kittenish smirk growing bigger. "Going once," the murmurs dissapear as someone stands up, fixing his suit and walking towards the stage. "Twi—"

  "$1,000,000." The stranger raises his hand calmly, his back facing the entire crowd as he stands in front of Minseok, a sweet smile on his lips.

"Minseok is hella attractive," is what Jongdae constantly tells his friends when Minseok is around. Even when they sit together on their couch, Jongdae never forgets to remind Minseok how handsome he is. While most find it weird that Jongdae does that, there's only one reason for that. For as long as Jongdae and his friends have known Minseok, he's always had low self esteem due to the fact high school was tough on him.

Now, as Jongdae sits in front of the stage, he can't help but rethink his choices. With lights hanging from the trees at the most gorgeous garden he's ever seen, he wonders if his idea might just cause a shift in his relationship. Who actions off his boyfriend for a charity event? Absolutley no one, unless you're a douchebag who wants to get rid of his significant other, but Jongdae is not a douchebag. Minseok might think otherwise.
