"Welcome to cake shop Sweet Dreams", a female voice said from behind the counter when Baekho entered the cake shop.
A eldery female woman was standing there smiling and bowing her head slightly to greet him, he greeted her back by bowing and showing her an awkward smile.

Baekho looked around him.
It was a small bustling shop, the interior looked cute with the pastel colors and decorations and didn't match with Baekhos rough appearance.
He felt embarrassed and uncomfortable from the moment he entered the shop. Why had his brother recommended this kind of cake shop out of hundreds and millions other ones he could have chosen.
Then he remembered his brother saying "You know how picky Haneul is about her food, she only eats cakes from the Sweet Dreams cake shop since their cakes have cute decorations", Haneul was Baekhos niece and today was her fifth birthday and he wanted his niece to have a special birthday since he loved her so much.

There were mostly young girls, female office workers and families with their children in the cake shop, there were barely any male customers, the only male customers there came with their families or girlfriends. Which made Baekho stand out even more cause he was there by himself.

He was standing there and looking around in a daze until he felt the customers staring at him as he kept standing at the same spot since he entered the shop, he thought about leaving but it would be weird if he just left the shop without buying anything and then he remembered that he had to buy the cake for his lovely nieces' birthday. Thinking about his niece made him overcome his feelings of embarrassment and he took a look at the pastries and cakes in the display.
He must have made a strange face while looking at them cause he heard someone chuckle.
"Hello, having a hard time choosing something?", someone said.
Baekho raised his head to look up and saw a young guy around his age standing behind the counter instead of the old lady from before.
The guy smiled sweetly at him and said: "May I help you?"
"Y-yeah s-sorry to bother you", Baekho said, he felt his face heat up, which made him even more embarrassed.
"It's no problem, that's what I'm here for", the guy said still smiling.
"I could recommend you something if you'd like", he added while still looking at Baekho.
"That would be great", Baekho said, feeling relieved.

He looked at the name tag of the dark haired guy, his name was Hwang Minhyun. Baekhos eyes wandered from his name tag to his face. Minhyun had a really handsome face, he had pale skin and mesmerizing eyes and he was slightly taller than Baekho. He reminded him of an cute desert fox.
He was stealing glances here and there at Minhyuns face when he had the feeling that the the dark haired boy wasn't looking at him. He didn't know why but his eyes kept following every movement of him, it was as if he got hypnotized.

"May I ask for whom you're buying this cake for? A girl you like maybe?", Minhyun asked interrupting Baekhos thoughts.
"N-no", Baekho said "It's for my niece...today is my nieces birthday and I wanted to suprise her with a cute cake, she really loves the cakes from this shop."
"That's really sweet of you. Your niece is lucky to have such a nice uncle."
I assumed it was for a girl you liked since you looked so concentrated while trying to choose a cake but I guess I was wrong."
"Well, you're not completely wrong I do love my little niece and she's a girl", Baekho said while grinning.
Minhyun laughed at Baekhos lame joke. "Even the way he laughed was really attractive", Baekho thought to himself.  Minhyu
