You just sat there, a ball in the corner of the room.

Your legs were pulled tightly to your chest, your head on your knees as you sobbed quietly, there was nothing you could do about it. You were interrupted from your worries, the loud cries of your daughter echoed through the hallways of the small 2 bed apartment.

Standing up quickly you wiped your tears making your way to your daughter’s room.
“Shh, hi baby, what’s up” she didn’t speak many words, only a few she picked up from those around her.
“Eomma, bad dream” as she rubbed her eyes you couldn’t help but cradle her in your arms, you had to do everything, it couldn’t be helped.
“does baby want to sleep with eomma” you spoke in a child like voice, turning off the lights and walking into your room as she snuggled further into your arms.

You sat the stray hairs from your baby’s face, a few tears slipped down your cheek. quickly wiping them away you watched her until she fell asleep. It was another night where you would go without, its not like you needed sleep anyway. Letting out a slight chuckle you lay on your back, reaching for your phone you began to scroll though different social media to pass the time.

You’d been liking pictures here and there until hers popped up, Tiffany Hwang. She was doing fine without you, she didn’t even know.

You were both in a relationship, together for a few years. The break up was an agreement, she was an idol, she had a life ahead of her. You had no hard feelings against her, sure you still loved her, but they said you should let the ones you love go. You found out a few weeks later that you were pregnant with the little one currently laying besides you.

You didn’t tell her, you didn’t want to be burdensome. She was this big shot, an international idol whilst you were an ex-lover, she didn’t need the extra pressure of a family on her shoulders.

You had one worry in life, you hated to see your baby grow up with only one parent, but if that’s what it takes for your love to reach her dreams, then that’s the price your going to have to pay.
