"Yul!" A guy calls out as he run to his friend, he pats the taller guy's shoulder, catching his breath

"are you going to stalk them again?" The taller guy smiles and nods

"taeng, are you going to stalk your ppani too?" 

Taeyeon nods, they took a bus and walks for a few blocks full of grandiose houses and lavish looking people that always eye them like commoners in a place full of royalties. But the duo doesn't care as long as they would be blessed with just a view of their goddesses' face and smiles. 

After school the two popular girls Jessica Jung and Tiffany Hwang would spend their free hours selling stuff at an old woman's store.

The boys soon found out that their kind goddesses were only helping the old lady without expecting anything in return. 

"You think this is enough taeng?" yul opens his wallet and counted the bills and coins in his hand.

"Don't worry, it's enough to buy all the goods, I hope she'll agree with your deal"

With a nervous heart and shaky hands, yul approached the store and shyly looks at the girls with his friend cheering on behind him.

"I-I'll buy what's left, if s-she would go on a d-date.. with me"

A tan tall guy with big glasses pointed at the blonde girl, her friend and the old lady looks at the girl he's pointing at.

"Jessica?" The brunette calls out her name trying to catch an answer on the blonde girl's expression

Jessica raises an eyebrow at yuri and looks back at her friend, they exchange whispers as yuri nervously waited for an answer.
"Fine" Jessica sighs and turns to look at her friend

"it will be a big help to halmeoni anyway"
she whispers at her friend before taking her bag

"Don't worry, I can handle this nerd"
The blonde girl smiles at her friend and bid goodbye to the old lady.

Jessica glances at the guy's appearance as he guide jessica's driver to wherever her date will take her. It's 7pm and he's still wearing his white school uniform, not from a well known school.. she noted, black pants and huge back pack that carries the variety of goods he bought from the old lady. The guy adjusted his glasses, breathing deeply

"W-We're here" he shyly said when they reached a normal looking building, they went up to the rooftop

"What is this place?" Jessica raises an eyebrow as she looks at the people occupying the couch and beannie bags watching at the huge screen

"It's a public movie viewing, not the latest movie though and you might have seen it already" he says as he looks at the girl's cold expression

"I-I'm Sorry.. this is the only place I can think of with the money I have left"
He rubs his neck as he guide her to their seat

"You don't even have enough money.. yet you bought everything earlier just for a date" Jessica scoffs

"Such a show off"

The guy sighs and said sorry before walking away to buy their food and drinks

Yuri glances at the girl beside her as she stares blankly at the screen. He knew he failed to give a good impression on the girl

"C-Can I walk you home?" Jessica smiles mockingly at the tall guy

"walk? Are you serious? Just so you know.. I have a car, Nerdy" her smile falter when she noticed the guy rubs his neck, staring at the ground. Embarrassed

"I'll be going now.." she paused and bit her lower lip, feeling guilty " thanks for the.." she thinks of a nicer word 

"um.. nice.. date" Jessica smiles awkwardly and bids goodbye.

"So.. How was your date with Mr. Nerd? what's his name again?" Her friend nudge jessica when their professor went out of the room.
"Nothing special tiff" jessica shrugs and lazily rests her head against her book on the table

"And to think of it.. I guess I was so not interested with the date that I actually didn't catch his name" Tiffany shakes her head. She just hoped her friend didn't put on her usual coldness with the guy. In her opinion, the guy looks innocent and kind. 

Jessica and tiffany puts back their books in their locker and walks their way to the car, ready for spending their free time on halmeoni's store

"Hi" The tan guy smiles at the blonde girl

"You again?" Jessica snaps at him, Tiffany puts a hand on her friend's shoulder

"Sorry for my friend's unfriendly behavior" the brunette smiles at the tan guy

"I believe my friend here didn't catch your name last time"
"Oh.. yeah.. I'm Kwon yuri" he smiles warmly

"uhm.. Ms. Tiffany, I don't have much money today.. but I would like to help you sell the goods"

"really? That's so nice of you yuri.. and you know my name?" Tiffany throws a puzzled look at the guy

"Yes.. because both of you are popular in our school" yuri smiles widely at the girls in front of him.

Yuri helps the girls sell halmeoni's foods and souvenirs, He's amazed with how willingly the popular girls help the old lady.
The old lady told him that she was jessica's nanny back since she was a kid but she quit before jessica enters high school due to the old lady's daughter's health condition and they just reunited a few weeks ago.

Yuri can't help smiling to himself being close to his crush, he have always dreamed being a step away from the girl but he wasn't prepared with the attention the girls get from the male customers. He sometimes blocks the girl when a guy approaches to inquire about an item. Which Jessica did not fail to miss, giving the tan guy a smack on his forearm for being over protective. 

"We need to talk" Jessica says coldly when yuri finished locking the store. The blonde bids goodbye to tiffany before taking her attention back to the tan guy

"what do you think you're doing?" Jessica asks coldly

"W-what do you mean?" Yuri breathes hard knowing what jessica meant but he asks anyway hoping that it's about something else.

"Oh.. please yuri, you know what I mean.. stop acting like you're my boyfriend" it's the first time yuri see the girl's angry expression

Yuri remained silent as jessica speaks out her frustrations. From there yuri knew they will never be more than what he wished for.
