Chapter 8
My Pet"Yang, lay back down. The royal physician hasn't given you permission to work again." Junhui said, taking the trays out of the small boy's hands. Minghao watched him, sighing softly. The boy's wounds have been healing well, but he was still unable to work for the time being. However, that didn't stop the boy from trying to get back to work.
"All I do is lay down. I'm bored." He mumbled, sitting on the mat. Junhui turned to look at him, sighing lightly.
"Alright, how about this: I have to travel to a neighbouring kingdom on business, why don't you come with me? You can 'escape,' at least for a little while." Minghao thought for a minute, nodding. "Good. Pack your things. We're leaving tomorrow." Minghao jumped up, looking at him with wide eyes.
"Tomorrow!? Why did you tell me that now, I haven't even been able to help you pack your things!" Minghao exclaimed, worried. Junhui grabbed his shoulders gently, making the boy face him.

"Haidian District." Minghao thought for a minute, trying to figure out the time they would be travelling. "That's almost forty-five days time. And we will be spending as much time as necessary to get business completed there."
"And what business would that be? If it isn't too much to ask." Minghao added, tying off his knapsack.
"Haidian has closed off trade with the southern districts. We need their resources, so my father is sending me up to discuss opening trade again." Junhui explained. Minghao nodded, putting his knapsack by the door as Junhui went to the closet to look for something. "Minghao?" The said boy froze, not knowing why he called him by his real name.
He looked at him, confused. "Yes?"
"Did you move my moonstone?"
"No. Why? Is it gone?" Minghao questioned, coming closer to the prince.
"I was going to take it in case something happened. It's gone."
"You didn't pack it already?"
"No, I was going to put it in the pocket of my robes so I didn't risk it gettin
