"What do you mean Team Leader Moo is missing?"

It is impossible. Almost ridiculous. To think that Team Leader Moo could be in danger. He's invincible, to
say the least. He survived the most dangerous of situations. Why would they worry so much just for losing
contact with him for a couple hours now? He was just talking to me a few hours ago. He's safe and sound right
here. And he wouldn't get himself in danger. Not when he's already set to take Dongwoo on a holiday. It's impossible isn't it?

"Officer Shim Dae Shik called asking about Team Leader Moo. He couldn't be contacted. And he was supposed to
meet his son. Their flight is scheduled for tonight, at eight."

I glanced over at the ticking clock attached high up the wall. It's thirty minutes past seven. There weren't
many agents left answering calls as it's Saturday and less staffs work in the weekends. Especially after our
big achievement with the Sungwun Express cases, the number of serious cases had decreased quite considerably.
There's still thirty minutes, surely Team Leader Moo was just busy catching some bad guys, surely he would
make it back on time to the airport, right? Or even if he's too late, surely he would be able to give a sound
explanation on this, wouldn't he?

"Chief Kang, do you...have any suggestion? I've activated code zero to search for Team Leader Moo, but because
there was no clue at all, and we've exceeded the time, the case was transferred to Chief Jang's team. We tried
to track his phone. But it was undetectable."

Eunsoo looked like she's on the verge of tears. She's clearly in so much distress that her usually perfectly
calm professional facade all gone. I could only squeeze her shoulder, hoping to comfort her even if there's nothing else I
could offer for now. But Team Leader Moo hadn't disappeared for that long, not even enough to lodge report for
missing person. Why was everyone in such panic and hopeless state? He could've just been after bad guys and
forget to communicate, or lost his phone or something. Was there anything that I missed out in this whole
picture? Anything that made this situation so much more worrying than it should be?

"Center Leader Park, don't worry too much. The Center still needs your strength. And I'm sure he will be
fine."

"Don't worry. I'm alright." She tapped my hand lightly and braved a smile, that almost looked forced. Being
strong is never easy, but she knows it too, that it's all about faking it until you make it.

"I think I'm going to stick around here to help whatever I can."

Seeing Eunsoo's mouth opened, most possibly to decline my offer to stay out of burdenful feeling of being
burdensome, I quickly continued. 

"Afterall, I'm the last person that saw him here. And Team Leader Moo had done a lot in assisting me when I was the Center Leader here. Even more than he needed to. I would feel guilty and unable to focus on my job if I go back without doing anything. This is for my own peace of mind, and it's not like my role in Seoul is that irreplaceable. They have plenty of officers there. I hope you can help to extend the request form to Seoul Headquarters to keep me here, at least for a week."

I didn't feel great about imposing my decision on her rather than respecting hers as the current Sungwun
Center Leader, but I wasn't lying when I said I wouldn't be able to carry on my life there until I'm assured
that Moo Jin Hyuk is really safe. He needs to be safe. He's the only parent his son is left with. He knows it
too. He wouldn't be reckless with his life. Other than that, there's still that other thing I need to make
sure of, before leaving this place.

"Hyunho, who's taking care of Dongwoo now?"

"Officer Shim Dae Shik currently is getting Team Leader Moo's son to be enrolled back into his previous
hospital. Temporarily of course, until we find Team Leader Moo. Soon."

"Be honest...is there anything big that I didn't know, happened, that involved Team Leader Moo while I wasn't
here?"

There was a look of surprise, but the way his eyes blinked in confusion a second later, made him seemed so
genuinely confused by the question, or maybe that's just what I was hoping for it to mean.

"Well...not that I know of since I'm just here answering calls. But you know Team Leader Moo. He's a
little...unpredictable and...full of energy and passion when dealing with bad guys."

"Any instances in particular regarding this nature of his that stood out?"

He shook his head.

"But maybe it would be more helpful if you try find out from Officer Shim."

He's right. Shim Dae Shik would definitely know more when it comes to Team Leader Moo. But the question is,
will he tell me? Regardless, it's better to try. Afterall, we have the same goal which is to find Team Leader
Moo, and it would probably be easier to try getting information from him than Chief Jang who always treat me
like I'm out to snatch his position.
