“Taehyungie, I received a call from my employer and they were asking me if I know someone who has an eye for arts and I immediately thought of you, of course.” Yoongi casually said while he’s doing the dishes, Taehyung was busy wiping their table as he tries to get rid of the permanent stain which Yoongi knows is a lost cause, he doesn’t say anything since it’s what Taehyung wanted to do.

“Are you for real?!” Yoongi hears the soft padding of Taehyung’s footsteps as he moves behind him, he can practically hear the grin in his voice. He’s definitely excited.

“Yes, they need to hire one asap since the other one seems incompetent for that position which reminds me, I’ll have to ask them what’s exactly the position is called,” Yoongi shrugs

“Thank you so much, Yoongi! And no, you don’t have to do that, I’ll take whatever it is. I’m not allowed to be choosy.” Taehyung says not unkindly, he’s always the optimistic one after all. Yoongi leans against him as the younger slides his arms around his waist, a sigh leaving his lips—Taehyung’s warmth never fails to ease his nerves.

Especially when he’s starting to put his plans into action.

“You can have a walk-in interview tomorrow, it’s up to you. Just go to KNS Co., I’m sure you’ve heard of it,” he tilts his head to the side to give his boyfriend a knowing smile,

“Oh my, no kidding—" Taehyung couldn't seem to finish his sentence because of how overwhelming the possibility of working for one of the biggest companies in the country, "you’re the best boyfriend ever!” Taehyung plants a kiss on his neck, and Yoongi really loves it when he does that. Neck kisses are one of his weaknesses.

“Taehyung, I don’t know if I need to remind you this but I am the only boyfriend you have, unless you’re cheating on me (which I doubt you would, Yoongi doesn’t add), or if you lied to me when you said I am your first boyfriend.” Yoongi says in amusement. He hears a dramatic gasp as Taehyung’s warmth leaves him. Yoongi could only imagine the wide puppy eyes that Taehyung’s shooting his way as if he just got kicked or scolded.

“I would never!” Taehyung says, sounding a bit offended

“You better be,” Yoongi turns to him with a tiny threating glare (which looks really cute on him more than anything else) “now come back here and give me more hugs— I demand more of them,” Yoongi couldn’t care
