The alarm clock beeped nonstop blinking the time in red to alert the sleeper what time it was. It did its job as you slid out of bed and crossed over to the other side of the room where the alarm clock beeped. Still groggy from sleep, you stopped the alarm clock and dragged your sleepy self to the bathroom to get ready for school. After a refreshing shower, getting dressed, and fixing your hair the best that you could, you headed to one of the rooms inside the quiet house. The room was messy and had the atmosphere of a teenage boy living in there. You walked over to a lump on the bed, carefully avoiding the mess of clothes on the ground. You started to shake the boy, who was your annoying little brother.

" Ya, wake up. It's time to get ready for school." you said a bit quietly.

No response...

"Yong Joon-ah, wake up." you said a bit louder this time.

When there still wasn't a response, you pulled the blanket roughly off your brother and said loudly, " YA, KIM YONG JOON! WAKE UP!"

Yong Joon sat up, face scrunched into and annoyed face and then and exclaimed, " Ah geez! You don't have to yell so loudly in the morning! You're gonna make me deaf someday, monster..." Yong Joon said the last word quietly, or so he thought.

You glared at him and folded your arms. "I heard that. Whatever, you're gonna be late if you don't get ready soon." you pointed to the clock as it said it was seven o'clock.

Yong Joon looked at the clock. He stared for a moment, and then he yelled, "Oh crap! I'm gonna be late again! Why didn't you wake me earlier!" he looked at you and then ran to the bathroom to get ready for school.

You sighed and walked to the kitchen for breakfast. "I always do but he just sleeps away with no care in the world."

You found your mom in the kitchen making toast. She saw you coming in and smiled, "Did you sleep well last night?"

You took the toast that your mom handed you and responded back while eating it, "Yup. I tried to wake Yong Joon again today, but as usual he didn't wake until minutes later." you sighed again for the second time at your little brother.

Your mother chuckled, "At least he has someone to wake him before he slept until noon. He's lucky to have you as a noona." she walked over to the table and sat to drink her morning coffee. She looked at the clock and said, "Well look at the time! You should head to school now, don't want to be late!"

You sighed for the third time today, but it wasnt because of your brother this time. As much as you liked school and learning, you did not like some of the people at your school. Your mother gave you a worried look. "Is everything alright at school, you-ah?" she said in a worried tone.

You gave her a fake smile so you wouldn't worry your poor mother. "Yeah, everything is alright at school umma. There's nothing to worry about." She didn't seem to worry any less so you hurried to the front door and said, "Danyeo ulgaeyo* umma!" you said in a cheerful voice. *A/N: means like "I'll be back"

"Eung~, chal gatdawa*!" she said back. *A/N: means something like "okay, have a good time and come back"

You headed to school with dread filling your mind...

~I hope it wasn't too bad was it? Even if it is just the first chapter... And it's a bit hard to translate Korean to English words :P and correct me if I'm wrong cause even if I'm Korean, I've lived in the US for practically all of my life XP I'll try and make the rest of the chapters longer, but this is just the first chapter and I wanted to get it out first before I go any further into the story :P~
