Seventh Chapter
Yet another Korean dramaAndy poured coffee to the cup, bowed and retreated from the desk. Eric sipped it and then wrinkled his face. “What the hell is the matter with this coffee?!” he cursed. “It tastes like crap,” he looked up at the younger man.
Junjin had just entered the room to hear Eric’s yells. Andy walked to the desk and collected the coffee back to the tray. “I am sorry,” he bowed one more time and turned to the door. His eyes met Junjin’s and instantly ignored him.
“Oh, Chungjae ya, you’re here.” Junjin walked to the desk and smiled at his hyung. “I want you to pick up Dongwan-sshi and bring him to me. You will now work as his driver as well. We need to show our good side to the man, so he is convinced that we are good enough, maybe even better.” The younger man nodded. “And can you tell Hyesung-sshi to come here. I reckon my office needs cleaning…fast.”
“Immediately, hyungnim!” Junjin bowed deeply and hurried out.
Andy brought another coffee cup to the man and poured new coffee in it. Eric glared at the black liquid and then sipped it silently. “It’s better,” he muttered. “You can go now, Andy,” he shooed with his hand.
“Immediately, Sir,” Andy bowed yet again.
He walked out of the room when Hyesung and Junjin returned. Andy’s eyes met both of theirs, and then ignored them again. Junjin’s smile disappeared, as he tapped Hyesung to the shoulder and exited the room. “Aish,” Hyesung voiced. “He lied to me…that kiddo.”
“What do you mean?” Eric folded the paper and placed it on the desk.
“He said I needed to clean your office while you were doing business outside.” Hyesung placed the wet bucket on the mahogany made desk. Drops drippled down its side. Eric looked at it, and moved his papers out of the way. “So, what do I have to do?” Hyesung leaned to the wet bucket and stared down at the man. “Call Dongwan and ask him out for you?” he snorted, but Eric didn’t find it funny. “What? You want me to lie to him, so he comes here too?”
Eric scoffed. “Shut up and start cleaning.” he shoved his hand. Hyesung moved. “And while we are at the topic, I don’t need to lie to Dongwan-sshi to get him here.” Eric murmured inaudibly. Hyesung probably didn’t hear it. “Remember to…”
“…be careful. Don’t worry,” Hyesung said as he climbed up to a latter to get to the top of the bookshelf.
“…not to ruin anything.” Eric fixed. “I don’t give a damn if you fall.” he laughed.
“You will when I sue you,” Hyesung struck back, and smirked when Eric leered at him. “I can play your little games, Eric Mun.” he stated and continued dusting the books that had no layer of dust on them whatsoever.
Eric scoffed but flashed a little smile when he turned back to his cup of coffee and urgent papers. Having Hyesung there was like a nice teasing guilty pleasure. Eric loved to annoy him, and he loved to be annoyed by him. He just didn’t want to admit it to himself or to others. “I have never seen so many gay novels piled up ever. And my best friends are gay,” Hyesung laughed.
Eric jumped up from his chair. “What?!” He panicked. “They aren’t mine!” he argued. “I promised Minwoo to keep them save! THEY ARE HIS!” Eric tried, but Hyesung was not convinced. “YAH! DON’T READ THEM!” the rich man yelled and started to climb the latter too. “YAH! SHIN HYESUNG!”
Hyesung was reading dramatically a random page, holding on to the latter, whilst he was laughing. Poor Eric climbed higher and higher and then they heard a crack. Both of them looked down slowly. Then they looked at each other. And then they screamed. The latter gave in, and Eric fell onto his back, receiving very heavy Hyesung on top of him – Hyesung looked petite but Eric had seen him eat and it wasn’t at all as beautiful as Hyesung was.
They groaned in turns, and then…they opened their eyes and realized how intimate this was. Hyesung’s legs were on Eric’s sides, while his hands were on the chest. Eric’s arms rested above his head and his legs were underneath the maid. Hyesung stared at Eric. Eric stared at Hyesung. It was a moment of silence. And then they heard someone clearing their throat. Eric arched his head back, Hyesung lifted his eyes and turned them to the door.
“Now I understand why you wanted me out of the house,” Junjin grinned while he was standing in front of confused Kim Dongwan.
“Oh my god,” Eric whispered, and then pushed Hyesung off him. “It wasn’t what it looked like!” he explained fast. “This clumsy…thing…fell on top of me!”
