아는 길도 물어가라 (AGM) - Big Hit's New Boy GroupTEASER O2
S ome days were just bad days. No matter how you spliced it, things came out negative.
Chae Young was having one of those days. Between the memo she'd found on her desk informing her that she was to be the manager of BigHit's next group and the fact her numbers for the tour weren't balancing, she was not having a good time.
It's almost four in the afternoon by the time she realizes she's missed lunch in her hunt for the math mistake she knows must have been made on one of her budgetary spreadsheets, and this late there's really no point in getting an actual meal.
Sighing heavily she closes her laptop and rests her head on the desk. It will only be a short moment, just a bit of time to breath and recollect herself.
Chae Young doesn't like showing any signs of exhaustion when she's at work, but today is one of those days.
She's startled back into a sitting poisiton when someone knocks on the door.
"Mrs. Kim? Are you busy?"
One of the interns - Chae Young has no idea which. She quickly pulls her laptop open again and smothes her hair before calling for her to enter. "How can I help you?" She always made it a point to be nicer to the female interns - they didn't have nearly enough compared to the males.
"Um," The intern looks highly twitchy, her eyes flicking everywhere but Chae Young. "We were running the profit margin from BTS's newest album and allocating the funds and we were hoping you would look it over to make sure it's efficient?" She nervously holds out a spreadt.
At a quick glance it looks workable but Chae Young feels she should probably give it a bit more effort than that, so she accepts the sheet form the young woman. "Not a problem, I'll have it back to you in the morning. Where are you working?"
The intern seems marginally more relaxed now that Chae Young has accepted the request. "Third floor marketing ma'am."
Chae Young nods. "Very well, you better get back to work. Oh, and what was your name?"
The woman's nerves are back. "J-Jun Hee ma'am. I'm 21, just about to graduate."
Chae Young smiles at her. "Well Jun Hee, when you graduate I'll be happy to give you a reference. Just bring me something to sign on your last day."
The intern's eyes go wide, and then she bursts into a smile. "Really? Oh wow, thank you ma'am! I'll get right back to work!" She bows repeatedly before rushing out of the office.
Chae Young smiles. So maybe the day isn't the worst it could be. Even if she did just give herself an extra few hours work.
