Fida POV

It’s already 4 months since Donghae and I was dating… but I still kept my friendship with Eeteuk. He was too good to me even I already broke his heart… Donghae and I always had quarrel because of his jealousy. I couldn’t break our friendship and hurt Eeteuk even more… it would make me feel guiltier towards him.

I was doing my assignment but suddenly my phone rang. I looked at the screen and Eeteuk name was displayed. “yeobuseyo?” I said as I picked up the phone
“Fida… it’s me, Eeteuk oppa”
“ne oppa… what’s up?”
“erm… are you free tomorrow after school?”
“Yeah, I think so… why?”
“Can you accompany me to somewhere?”
“Somewhere? Where is it?”
“I’ll tell you tomorrow… can you go with me?”
“erm.. Is that important?”
“Very important! Please~”
“ahh… ok”
“ok… see you tomorrow…”

After finished practicing… I packed my stuff and Donghae came to me… “let’s go.. I walk you home” he said
“mianhae oppa.. I have something else to do… so you can go home first”
“what thing? I can go with you”
“erm… I’ve promised Eeteuk oppa to go somewhere with him”
“mwo? where?”
“He said he’ll tell me after this”
“Aish… let me talk to him…”
“oppa… he said this is important… I’m the one who promise him~ please”
“why you? Aish…”
“oppa.. We’re just friend… don’t you trust me?”
“but… he’s a big flirt! Stop hanging out with him please”
“oppa… I can’t hurt him even more… trust me. I choose you… not him”
“but he won’t give up just like that…”

“it’s not that I don’t trust you, but I don’t trust him!”
“don’t worry… I’ll tell you exactly where I am… ok?” I said. but Donghae kept silence. “oppa…”
“I’m tired… I go home first” Donghae just walked away with a long face. I ran towards him and hugged him from behind
“oppa… don’t worry please~” he pulled out my arms and faced me. He looked into my eyes…
“I’ll always worry about you... that’s why I want to protect you”
“oppa… I know you’re a good boyfriend… don’t worry much ok?” I said. Finally he managed to smile.
“Don’t forget to text me... arraso?”
“em… arraso!”
“I go home first”

Donghae just stepped out from the court “ahh… already finish your lovey-dovey scene?” a voice came from behind
“oh, Eeteuk oppa…”
“Is he jealous?”
“Of course he do~ so, where to go?”
“Follow me….” he took me to his car and drove to somewhere… after 15minutes driving, he stopped.
“Here? What to do here?” he stopped at a market
“yes... let’s do some shopping~”
“but… what do you what to buy?”
“ok… to tell you the truth, I need to buy some groceries”
“what for?”
“to cook…”
“but.. Is that all?”
“yup”
“oppa… you’re lying to me… you told me it is important”
“I’m not lying.. This is important”
“cook? I don’t understand…”
“ok ok… my mom will be home tonight, I haven’t seen her almost a year because she’s in Canada to work her business there… so, I’m planning to cook for her… to make our dinner special”
“owh… sorry for doubting you. That’s so sweet… you’re really a good son!”
“Now, you’re attracted to my sweetness? I can be much sweeter than this…”
“aww… stop it~ erm… so what can I help you? To tell you the truth, I’m really in cooking… so don’t ask me anything about cooking”
“you don’t know how to cook? Owh… you can’t be a good wife if you don’t know how to cook…”
“yeah… you’re right. I can’t even step in the kitchen so how can I learn how to cook?”
“it’s ok… I just need someone to accompany me… ahh... Actually I need some ideas from you, but it turns out like this~”
“mianhae… but it’s your own fault for not telling me about today. At least I can tell you first and you can find someone else to help you”
“ahh… but it feel better because you’re the one with me here…”

Eeteuk POV

“oppa… is it true that every man wants a wife who good in cooking?” she suddenly asked me while I was selecting tomatoes
“mostly…” I said. But I got no respond from her. I looked at her face and she looked down “but for me… its ok. Since I’m a good cook I can cook for her. Don’t you think I’m so sweet?”
“ne… your wife must be so lucky!!” she said. Don’t you know how I wish that girl is you? I’ll treat you better than Donghae can do. “oppa… are you really a good cook?” she asked again
“why? Cooking is one of my hobbies… I can even make kimchi… you’ll know after this!!”
“Really? Can you teach me how to make kimchi?”
“so you want me to be your cooking teacher? Erm… why kimchi? Do you like it so much?”
“erm… not me… I don’t eat veggies actually”
“for Donghae?”
“um… please” I looked in her eyes and they seemed begging me
“ok” I couldn’t help but to agree… while you’re with me, your mind still full of him. Why can’t you forget him for at least while you’re with me?
“oppa.. What are you going to cook?”
“erm… I’m planning to cook Dwanjang-Kuk (Bean Paste Soup), jjamppong, and kimchi stew”
“woah… There are a lot!! You really can cook all those things alone?”
“That’s why I need your help… but…”
“mianhae” she looked down again
“it’s ok…” I patted her hair and she smiled
