It’s been another week after Taeyeon saw Jessica went with Tyler. As in she got so many works, she looks very down. There’s no other she could do except locking herself at her room after work

“Tae, you need to have your health checked” said Tiffany after realized that Taeyeon’s face became pale

“I’m fine”

“Yah, Fany is right” said Sunny “Just go check up on the hospital, don’t you?”

“I see I see, stop nagging” Taeyeon huffed “I’ll be going to hospital after work”

Taeyeon took her key from the purse when the rain starts pouring.

“I forgot to bring my umbrella and my car is far enough from the building”

Taeyeon sighed, this night could be worse than this, right?

“Tae, are you still at the SM?” Tiffany called Taeyeon

“Yeah, I parked at outside and now it's raining so hard”

“Wow, don’t say that you’re not bringing the umbrella”

“Sadly, yes”

“Guess that you will wait so long” Tiffany laughed at the other line

“Why are you calling me when you just mocking me” Taeyeon frowned a little

“I think f(x) members still there, Tae. You could meet Soojung for escorting you to the car”

“Sounds so easy. Instead, she will kill me”

“Tae… what was happen to Jessica is not totally your fault”

“Talk to you later, Fany-ah” Taeyeon cut the uncomfortable conversation between them “I think the rain slowly subside”

“Drive safely”

Taeyeon just put her phone at the purse when someone passing by. It’s Krystal, looks like she just finished her practice and prepare to go home

“Hi, Krystal”

“Hi” she replied

“Heading home?”

“Stopping by to the hospital”

“Who is sick?”

“My Mom is collapsing” Krystal sighed “Do you want to come?”

“To be honest” Taeyeon looking at the sky “I have to visit hospital after this”

Taeyeon stretches her arms as she’s going out from doctor’s place. He said that she need more rest and more sleep. More sleep? Taeyeon isn’t sure she can sleep well when thinking about Jessica every time

“Maybe a short holiday” Taeyeon whispered out of nowhere when suddenly her eyes meet familiar figure just walking put from a room

“Jessica?” Taeyeon isn’t sure why her lips automatically called her girlfriend, okay she’s kicked her out but they didn’t break up, yet.

 “Taeng, what are you doing here?”

“Ah, I have myself checked up. And you?”

“Mom is collapsed” said Jessica with trembling voice. She’s intertwining her fingers while looking at the floor

“Mother will be okay” Taeyeon tries to assure the younger girl. After an awkward minute, Taeyeon excused herself.

“Taengoo”

Again, that soft voice always makes her stop in her tracks

Taeyeon turns her body to find trembling Jessica trying so hard to hold her tears

Taeyeon not wasting the time again, she’s pulling her closer and embracing Jessica as much as she can. She let Jessica cries on her embrace, while Taeyeon is patting her back to comfort her

Taeyeon covered Jessica’s body with her coat, while carefully she placed her on the couch near her Mom’s ward. Jessica must be tired, she’s falling asleep on Taeyeon’s hold by the way.

“Father” she stood up straightly before giving a bow to the older man in front of her

“Long time no sees, how are you?”

“I’m fine” Taeyeon gulped “I’m sorry about Mother”

“It’s okay, she will be fine. Doctor said she needs more rest” Mr. Jung smiled “Sooyeon was asleep, she’s tired”

“Looks like”

“Taeyeon-ah, I didn’t know what really happened between you two, but I’m sure that you are the one who can make her happy”

“Father…”

“Don’t make it so hard for you” Mr. Jung patted Taeyeon’s back “At least, thanks for giving the best smile for my Sooyeon, Taeyeon”
