“This engagement will be solely business related, darling.” Baekhyun was fuming, his mother wasn’t one to keep secrets.

“Mother, I’ve spoken to you about this before.” Baekhyun didn’t anticipate his father’s input in the conversation, he tried disregarding the family dinner invitation he had received earlier this week but mother was very persistent.

“Baekhyun, everything has been arranged already. Your wedding will be held in a month,”

“A month? Have you gone insane, mother?!”

“Treat your mother with respectful manners, son. We’ve taught you better.” Baekhyun squeezed his eyes shut, unable to suffer any longer. Seconds later other voices were heard throughout the living room.

“Please, Baekhyun. Meet your fiancé, Park Chanyeol.” Baekhyun didn’t bother greeting his supposed fiancé as he walked off towards the garden. He knew he would get an earful later but he wouldn’t accept an arranged marriage on business related terms, this couldn’t be his destiny.
