“One strawberry, two strawberries, three strawberries,” a little girl counted. “I love strawberries!” she smiled.

While picking her strawberries, she suddenly heard a bark. She looked over and saw a little brown puppy.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!” she cried and started to run off. The puppy started to chase her through the fields.

“Help me!” she screamed.

“Soccer was fun!” the boy smiled while walking down the streets.

“I should practice!” the boy said and started to kick the ball. “Kick!” he kicked the ball in the air and it flew into a field

“My ball!” he ran towards his ball and picked it up. “A basket with strawberries?” he asked and picked it up.

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!” he heard someone screamed.

“GOHST?!” he screamed and hugged his ball.

“Help me!” the voice cried.

“Help?” he asked and ran towards the voice. He saw a little girl in purple dress running through the fields with a puppy chasing her.

“Omo!” he exclaimed and ran towards the puppy and started to throw strawberries at it.

“Get away puppy!” he screamed and the puppy ran off.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

“My strawberries!” she squealed and pushed him to the ground.

“Yah!!” he shouted while lying on the ground.

“You ruined my strawberries!!” she said with tears falling.

“I’m sorry,” he walked to her and patted her head.

“Thank you,” she wept.

“You’re welcome!” he smiled brightly.

“Sorry too,” she pouted.

“It’s okay, I ruined your strawberries,” he said.

“What’s your name?” she pointed at him.

“My name? I am Park Jungsu!” he replied.

“I am Kim Taeyeon,” she bowed. “Nice to meet you,”

“How old are you?” Jungsu asked.

“Um….Six!” Taeyeon smiled.

“Me too!” Let’s be friends, my strawberry princess,” Jungsu chuckled.

“Okay, strawberry prince!” Taeyeon jumped with joy.

“Taeyeon!! I got you something!!” Jungsu shouted a couple days later.

“What is it?” Taeyeon asked.

“Look!” Jungsu gave her the box.

“A strawberry necklace!!” Taeyeon exclaimed.

“It’s a locket too!” Open it!” Jungsu demanded.

“Is that you?” Taeyeon asked.

“Yeah, I took the picture yesterday. I’m handsome, right?” Jungsu smiled.

“Weirdo!” Taeyeon giggled and Jungsu put the necklace on her. “Thank you,”

“It’s nothing, best friend!” he replied.

~Four Years Later

“Jungsu-ah, what’s wrong?” Taeyeon asked while the two were picking strawberries.

“My parents are fighting again,” Jungsu sighed.

“Why?” Taeyeon replied.

“Something about the country side, money, and school,” Jungsu shook his head.

“”It’s okay,” Taeyeon patter his head.

“Are you sure?” I’m scared I might leave,” Jungsu told her.

“You can live with me and share a room with my dongsaeng,” Taeyeon smiled.

“Okay,” Jungsu replied sadly.

~A Couple Days Later

“Time to meet Jungsu!” Taeyeon sang happily while carrying two cups of strawberry shake.

 “Where can he be?” Taeyeon pouted and looked around. “A basket?” she quickly ran to it.

“It must be from Jungsu!” she smiled happily and opened the letter. Her face quickly turned upside down as tears began to fall.

“Jungsu-ah,” she cried and ran towards his house.

On the letter, it said…

“Taeyeon,

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. But now I’m gone, I left to the city with my mom. I didn’t know it would go this far, I didn’t know that they would divorce. Bye Taeyeon, I will always remember you, because you’re my one and only strawberry princess and best friend forever.

~8 Years Later

“Here’s you strawberry shake!” Taeyeon smiled.

“Aigoo~, thank you, Taeyeon. I don’t know what I would do without you,” an ajumma said.

“It’s nothing,” Taeyeon laughed. “I have to go now, the soccer team needs me,” Taeyeon smiled and left on her bike.

“Kids! Come get your smoothie!” Taeyeon shouted at the soccer team.

“Kamsahabnida Noona!” the boys smiled and ran off.

“Kids,” Taeyeon smiled and started to walk off.
