“Bogum ah, you have to do that again.”

“Neh”

This is the third time Bogum is repeating the scene. Somehow he just couldn’t get the emotions right.

“biyane yoojung shi” bogum felt apologetic towards his co-star who has to repeat the scenes with him again and again.

“kenchana oppa. We can do that again. You definitely can do it.” Yoo jung, as usual, puts on her best smile for him.

“Just treat yourself as the real prince oppa, I am sure you will understand more of how the prince will behave in such circumstances. For me, I also transform fully into Raon so that I can understand how she will behave.”

Transform…  to Bogum, he knows how to act and it is without doubt that he is good in acting, with experiences accumulated from other dramas, but he has never went beyond “transforming” into the character. Perhaps that’s basic requirement for taking on period drama. He probably has to live like the character to act well.

“I will try to transform into the crown prince… yoo jung…yoo…. Jung..ie.”

Yoo jung widened her eyes and stared at Bogum: “bwo? What did you just said?”

“Yoo Jungie” Bogum raised his voice and shouted. “whei… since I am the crown prince, can’t I call you that?”

Yoo jung tried to hide a smile on her face. Trying hard not to smile too brightly, yoo jung pouted and shouted back: “alarsoh hwa cho shu sheng!”

Bogum broke into laughter as he heard Yoo Jung’s response and Yoo Jung too, laughed along as their eyes met.

PD Nim: “daebak bogum! You have finally got into the feel of the crown prince. This is what we want exactly. Continue to do well bogum. it is a pity that we have shot the first two episodes, else the feel would have been better.”

“Bogum ah, are you gamed to reshoot the first two episodes for your scenes?”

 “PD Nim… thanks for being so patient with me and I am really glad I have managed to pull through now. I will really love to re-shoot those scenes. I don’t mind doing again but If I do that, yoo jung shi will have to re-shoot those scenes that she had with me as well?”

PD Nim: “yah, if we re-shoot, Yoo Jung will have to do it too cos she has so many scenes with you. I will speak to her.”

“Yoo Jung ah, come over here for a while.” PD Nim signaled for Yoo Jung to join him and Bogum.

“yoo jung ah… if we re-shoot some scenes from 1 2 episodes, are you ok? now with bogum into the emotions of crown prince, I hope to do the shoots again. It will turn out better for screenplay too. are you ok? this means we have to spend 2 more days for the reshoot.”

“biyane yoo jung” bogum explained. “it is my fault for only getting into the emotions now. It is ok if you do not want to do it. I can just do my individual scenes myself…”

“ok..” yoo jung didn’t wait for Bogum to finish. “I am gamed for it, I am game for the improved version.” Yoo jung smiled and turned to bogum “oppa, hwaiting!”

Bogum looked at this bubbly girl before him and smiled. “kamsahamida yoojungie.”

“whei? This is for the drama. we are in this together oppa. You don’t have to feel sorry.”

Deep inside Bogum’s heart, he is thankful. Although many people have been cynical with their pairing cos Yoo Jung is a minor and she has many restrictions, Bogum is somehow thankful that his co-star is Yoo Jung. A girl without any agenda and whatever she does is for the good of others – the team, the drama and him. She has never tried to overshadow anyone nor feel unhappy about not bring in the limelight. If people described him as a very nice person, then yoo jung would have been an angel sent by god. He recalled she was like this too last time. She has never really change which is a good thing..

“can’t you stretch your hands further?” Bogum did an adlib while carrying Yoo Jung as he re-shoot the scene in the dung pit with her.

“can’t you use a little more strength?” yoo jung responded to Bogum’s adlib naturally as if they have rehearsed beforehand.

Bogum burst out laughing at Yoo Jung’s response and everyone else laughed after that.

While having a short break in the pit,

Bogum: “Yoo Jung, you are really good. You can respond so naturally to my adlib.”

Yoo jung smiled: “I am not sure why oppa, it just happened that I can do it so naturally, as if I have known you for a very long time.” Yoo Jung massaged her legs as she was saying this.

“whei?? Kenchana?” bogum showed his concern as he saw yoo jung pressing her legs.

“Aniya, I am just abit tired from the shooting. Oppa, your grip on my legs was quite tight. Haha” Yoo Jung smiled and continued to massage her own legs.

“come over and sit here, I will help you with it.” bogum sat down in the pit and signaled for yoo jung to sit in front of him.

“kenchana, I can do it myself oppa.” Yoo jung tried to resist.

“just come over here.” it wasn’t difficult for Bogum to pull yoo jung hands down to make her sit down.

 “Is it this leg?” Bogum pulled Yoo Jung’s left leg towards him naturally and started to work on the tensed muscle.

Yoo jung stared at Bogum and she was speechless.

Bogum was so focused working on the massaging that he didn’t notice that Yoo Jung was staring at him all this while, observing how this handsome man is so detailed in the massaging.

“I think it should be good now.” Bogum wiped his sweat off his forehead but the smile behind the sweat is obviously full of satisfaction.

“Kamsahamida Oppa, but your forehead is dirty on the right side now.” Yoo jung laughed as she saw the black mark on his forehead.

“or di?”bogum tried to clean away but seemingly he made it worse as the black patch spreads to a larger area.

“aniya..” yoo jung bent over with her leg still on Bogum’s thigh and use her sleeves to wipe the dust gently off Bogum’s forehead.  “Oppa is just like a big kid.”

Bogum looked down at Yoo Jung’s face and then her eyes which is just inches away from his. He saw how yoo jung tried to tidy his hair and  swallowed his saliva: “yoo jung ah, actually….”

PD Nim: “ok everyone, let’s get ready for another shoot.”

Bogum and Yoo Jung: “neh..”

Bogum wrapped her arms around Yoo Jung to carry her again, but this time he felt his heart pounding as Yoo Jung leaned on his body. Bogum tried to keep his cool but as Yoo Jung’s body moved in his arms and occasionally leaning on his head, he just can’t help but feel his face turning red.

Why am I behaving like this? Didn’t I treat her just like a little sister????????????????
