Successful horse riding practices were rewarded with a group dinner treat by PD Nim.

The menu today was hotpot.

Yoojung eyes lit up immediately when the servers dished up just the small dishes of pickles and kimchi. She sort of forgotten that there are other people eating with her and straight away went to pick up a piece of pickle, sending that to .

It is not that she doesn’t have table manners; yoojung is a very casual person who doesn’t nitpick in small small areas. She doesn’t act and always behaves in her true form. Being a foodie, she just can’t resists when good food appears before her and she has always been dieting to look good on camera, how can she resist now when she can actually sit down like this to enjoy a hotpot…

The presence of silent from those around her was louder than the sound created from the pickle being munched in . She looked around the table to see shocked faces looking at her, and now she finally realised she should have waited for the rest, at least for PD Nim, before she starts eating… TOO LATE…

Bogum saw how yoo jung try to avoid everyone’s gazes, how she slow down her munching to minimize the sound made in , how she tried hard to act invisible and he really wanted to laugh.

Clearing his throat to hide his laughter, Bogum picked up his chopsticks to pick up a pickle. “Yoojung shi, so now you have tested the pickle, is it nice?

Yoojung looked at bogum with her wide eyes, not knowing why he asked that question at this time to make her feel worse. Still unable to speak cos of the big pickle in , Yoojung can only nod to Bogum’s question.  

Bogum then sent the pickle not to his mouth but to PD Nim’s plate and everyone else’s plate. “We have made an agreement before this meal that Yoojung shi will test the food and I will do the serving for the crew today. So everyone, please eat well.”

Everyone laughed over bogum’s good gestures, and just nice, the hotpots made its way to their table. Dinner started, breaking the awkwardness before.

Yoojung looked at this guy in front of her. “When did they make a pact? Did he just do that to save her from embarrassment? Aniya aniya, what am I thinking, bogum oppa is just a nice person who likes to take care of everyone. Who am I in the first place..” Yoo jung snorted at her own silliness thinking about this.

“yoojung shi, can you pass me your bowl?” yoojung break away from her daze and saw that Bogum is now serving the crew their soup. He hasn’t started eating yet.

“huh… oh.. oppa…. kenchana kenchana, I can do it myself.” Yoojung bent forward, wanting to pick up the ladle. Her hand just grabbed the handle of the ladle but was soon covered by another pair of hand on hers.

 “Didn’t we agree that I shall do the serving tonight?” bogum gave yoojung a strange smile and looked at her.

In shocked, Yoo Jung looked up and pull out her hand from Bogum’s one.

“bwo?”

Yoojung looked at bogum and saw this message in his eyes seemingly to “ask her to play along”…

A smirk slowly emerged on yoo jung’s face and her eyes lit up: “kurei… I want a bowl of soup with some vegetables, some mushrooms, white mushroom and not the black ones, more meat, more tofu and less bean sprouts.”

Bogum rolled his eyes slightly upon hearing yoojung’s requests and stared at her in disbelief. “Is this how she is paying me back for helping her.”

Trying hard not to burst out laughing, Yoojung flashed her million dollar smile at Bogum, “kamsahamida oppa.”

 “neh….” Bogum can’t help but to resort to his fate and smiled gently.

Crews: “We have eaten to our fill. Thank you for the meal PD Nim”.

PD Nim: “you are welcome. I am also very full.”

Yoo Jung looked up to the crew: “you guys are full? That’s fast.”

“Yoo Jung ah, you have been eating non-stop since just now? You are your small stomach can take it?” the crew was quite amazed with how much Yoo Jung eats for one meal.

“Who said my stomach is small, it actually can hold a lot of things. Haha… I think It is you all who ate too little.” Yoo jung sent another piece of meat into while saying that.

“jinjiat daebak yoo jungie, I think you have a very strong contender over there.” The crew clapped and laughed as they pointed to bogum who has also been quietly eating non-stop in a slow and steady manner.

“nega?” Seeing all eyes on him, bogum stopped eating: “aniya, There is still so much food left here. Don’t let it go to waste. And I agreed with yoo jung shi, you all ate too little. PD Nim, come and have some more.”

“aniya aniya, you can have that to yourself. I am really very full.” PD Nim rejected Bogum’s kind offer.

“Oppa, give that to me then,” yoo jung offered her bowl to bogum for that piece of meat.

“kurei, you can take this cabbage too.” and bogum happily helped to scoop another of soup for yoo jung.

“kurei, then you take this tofu and kimchi.” Yoo Jung took over Bogum bowl and started to fill it with food.

For the next half an hour, it is just Bogum and Yoo Jung eating. One mouthful by one mouthful, these two small kids just eat and eat and eat.

The rest of the crew watched them in silence, amazed by how much they can eat. They were observing these two from the sides, as if actual filming has already started.

It is strange yet amazing. The presence of awkwardness yet it is not that awkward. Even with not many exchanges of conversations, the two behaved as if they have known each other way before, even before they met in the agency….
