A flame ignites within me
Spreading in the light of dawn
Consuming me whole

The sun rises
I am in ashes

From the ashes, I rise 
Into the skies, I soar
An eternal fire

a/n: also written last October 28, 2014 as a contest entry. Come to think of it, I am not so sure which poem I submitted XD The theme is mythical creatures. Pretty obvious from the titles, huh?
