The brilliance in your eyes
No precious stone on earth could ever surpass
It beckons me as I journey to this mountain I call home   A Fire moon guides my path

A blazing fire that burns hotter in the darkest of nights   The trees, sturdy and proud
Giant sentinels of the forest
They offer you their branches as footstools, day and night   The starlight you revere Dulls in the radiance of your presence I could only stare in the wonder and mystery of you   I am but a speck
A fleeting memory in your years
And you, an impossible dream - so far away from me     a/n: Written last October 10, 2014 as an entry for animea's poem contest. I forgot all about this because the winner was never announced. But anyway, it's pretty obvious that my head is filled with Kili x Tauriel at the time this was composed. (Kiliel fan through and through. I went down with my ship.) I was only reminded of it because poptart started posting again. hehehe.
