I gaped, dumbfounded

I groaned, disappointed

My time, was it wasted?

Just because of an ending

That didn’t conclude anything

I sit here, thinking

Was all of it, for nothing?

Like a ferris wheel, that goes round and round

Going up, going down

A cycle of laughs, shrieks and tears

Of gritted teeth and clenched fists

A random mix of feelings

Just because a story is unfolding

But as my last stop is finally approaching

My car stopped in the middle

And left me hanging

So many questions left unanswered

It stopped
