Hyojin was walking down the hallways fuming with anger. How can the boss really let me work with Wonho?! She thought to herself.

“Kitten! Wait up! Why are you so angry?! KITTE—” Wonho was interrupted by Hyojin’s knife coming up uncomfortably close to his face.

“Will you stop calling me that? If we’re going to work together on this mission, then start by working on calling me by my real name, .” she threatened.

Surprised by the girl’s actions, Wonho decided to put his hands up and take a step back. “Okay. Okay, Hyojin.” He said in agreement. “Anyways, let’s go to my dorm and read the mission together. We need to assess it.”

Hyojin looked at him for a second before she responded, “Fine. Let’s hurry up and finish looking over the mission. I’m tried already and I want this day to be over with already. I have a photoshoot tomorrow” she said before she turned her back and started walking in front of Wonho.

“Ahem. Hyojin, my dorm is in the opposite direction.” He said as a matter of fact. Hyojin stopped in her tracks and paused. Punching herself mentaly for being so stupid in front of Wonho, Hyojin turned around on her heels and started walking with sass, passing Wonho and said, “I know.” with her resting face.

Wonho unlocked his door with the ID scanner that XEL provided every assassin that signs with the company. He reached out and opened the lights before taking off his leather jacket. Hyojin was surprised to see the man’s room. She thought that the room would be messy and unorganized but that wasn’t the case. Wonho’s room was surprisingly neat. The walls of his room was all black and with accents of red décor. To be honest, the room was just her style.

“So, are you just going to stand at the doorway or are you going to come inside?” Wonho said. Hyojin coughed to excuse her embarrassment. She walked into his room and sat down next to Wonho who was sitting at his table near his bed.

“Well, let’s get on with this.” Hyojin put the manila folder on the table and opened it. When she pulled the papers out, Hyojin started reading the assignment. As she was reading, her face shifted from curiosity to shock. Hyojin’s eyes and hands were trembling.

Wonho noticed Hyojin’s change in emotion took the papers out of her hands and looked at them. His eyes widened at the mission that was given to them: “Mission assignment: Assassination of the leaders of Los Diablos, VIXX. These group of men were responsible for the deaths of assassins Park Kyun, Park Minah, and Park Shin on June 16, 2012. The only sole survivor of this incident was Park Hyojin. Besides this event, these group of men have been involved with human trafficking, illegal drug smuggling, and dealing illegal arms to those who pose threats to South Korea’s state of security. This mission is classified as extremely dangerous. Assassins that have been chosen to lead this mission are Shin Hoseok and Park Hyojin. Eight other assassins are also assigned to the mission under the leadership of Shin Hoseok and Park Hyojin: Son Hyunwoo, Chae Hyungwon, Lee Jooheon, Lim Changkyung, Lee Minhyuk Yoo Kihyun, Kim Hyojung, and Kang Jihyun. There was only silence in the room between the two. No one said anything. The two were completely frozen. The situation as to why Hyojin came to XEL was a mystery to everyone in the company. The only people that knew the true story was CL, Hyorin, Soyu, and the men who were on the scene other than that, Wonho was the first person to find out the true story in the company. Wonho looked at Hyojin. She was frozen in place. He could see now as to why she always spent her birthdays training instead of celebrating.

Wonho couldn’t help but feel pity for her and when he looked in her at that moment, he saw, for the first time, sadness only engulfed her face. But that soon disappeared. Hyojin regained herself and now she was back to her resting face that she fronted every day.

She stood up from her chair and slammed her hands on the table, “I think I better leave for tonight. Let’s continue assessing the mission tomorrow at sparring room 4. We’ll update the other people that are under our leadership for this mission tomorrow as well. So…um…goodnight, Wonho.” With that, Hyojin left Wonho’s room and hurriedly walked back to her dorm, leaving Wonho with the mission in his hands.

Hyojin jumped in her bed after she freshened up herself. After reading the mission that was assigned to her, Hyojin couldn’t help but think about how she can finally get revenge for her family. But she had mixed f
