Today was a good day too I guess. I was the first to wake up at Jongin’s so I had gone into the kitchen. Jongin said to help ourselves to anything so I decided to look in the fridge. Not to boast or anything but I have taken up cooking since I would be sick quite a bit and had nothing else better to do. I had started making pancakes, eggs, bacon, and orange juice, the original American breakfast. During that process though Chanyeol had walked up behind me, and his booming voice in the morning caused me to jump and hit the side of my hand on the burning pan, and let’s say that just hurt quite a bit. Chanyeol seemed extra panicked and ran out. I ran my hand underneath water. I was just gonna resume cooking for I didn’t burn any of the food, but Chanyeol had come running back as quietly as possible, with a first aid kit that was bigger than my face. He gently tugged on my arm and started to apply medicine and wrap it up. It was surprising I would say. I mean Chanyeol was still fidgety as usual, but he was actually close by me, which he seemed to avoid most of the time.

After that he had apologized and offered to help me. He poured the drinks and set the table, but not much talking was in between, it was more awkward if anything. Thank God Jongin had come in with wide eyes then woke up everyone else for we could eat.

My parents came around at 1pm, so I was the first to leave. I had waved goodbye to everyone, and Yixing told me he was sad that he couldn’t spend much time with me at Jongin’s and that we would hang out together soon.

After arriving home my parents finally noticed my bandaged hand and it was like red alert. I had to explain to them that it was an accident and that I was cooking (I didn’t bring up Chanyeol because who knows what could have happened). Other than that it was normal(?) We ate dinner in peace, even though I couldn’t finish half of my meal, and now I am currently in my room. My phone keeps buzzing and it’s probably Yixing already making plans. I won’t ditch him this time.
