Falling for the Clumsy Sun

Oh, such wonder is innocence...

So far, for their guests' entertainment, they've played about three games.

The first one; the Paper Kiss (I don't really know the name) was won by Ailee and her beloved boyfriend who had to battle it out with Mr. and Mrs. Nam to which they received two VIP passes for Lotteworld which means they can go on all the rides they wanted; second, they played Pepero with Eric and Yongsun winning after the bride took the initiative leaving the tiniest bit of biscuit earning them a 1995 vintage of Champagne Krug Clos d'Ambonnay; and finally, the third game, which is the Palm Pushing game where Henry and Hyejin got ready to battle it out with the dirty players, also known as Mr. & Mrs. Shin - who only reached the final after slyly shoving Ailee by the shoulder and pulling her boyfriend along as she fell down.

"You know a bit of English, right?" Henry quietly aske Hyejin who simply nodded. "Good. So how about we just-"

"...beat them to the pupls." Hyejin cut him off repeating a phrase she heard from a movie.

Henry smiled and raised a hand for a high five. "Ready?"

"Le'go." The chic chick grinned.

"Okay! So our price for this game is two sets of our country's best beef so you all better put a great effort on this one." MC Joo announce and said go.

None of them spoke and as soon as the signal was given, Hyejin smacked her palms without hesitation instantly planting the older woman's bum on the floor. Henry had a bit of a tough time considering the older gent had a bigger build. So doing what he is best at, he waited and faked a palm smack which Mr. Shin tried to counter only to find himself flapping his arms for balance before falling on his much like his wife.

Just for show, Henry helped the old gent up as hyejin did with Mrs. Shin before fist bumping with each other.

"Aigoo! And I guess age does matter." Joo just had to pun it everything out. Still the crowd did find him funny. He then went on to thank the participants and politely told them to take their seats while asked for the bride and groom to stay for the cake cutting.

They did just that and with the taunts and teases of their friends, Eric caved in and took a piece of the cake and fed it to his blushing wife. Well, the truth is, he didn't really need any form of 'encouragement' from everyone, he already had it in his head to give her some.

"How is it?" He asked wiping the crumbs off the side of her lips.

"They made it e-even more d-delicious compared to the one we tasted in the shop." She answered half in speech and half in sign.

"Jjinja? I have to try it then." Eric replied and attempted to take a piece only to be stopped by his bride who pointed to herself. "Oh. Okay." He said smiling widely.

"Ah~" Yongsun cooed with a big piece of the cake for him and he ate it with a big smile on his face.

"Wah~. I feel so jealous now." The MC said and ofcourse the guests agreed. "Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. Nam."

Eric and Yongsun took that as a sign that they could go back and take their seats as the staffs handled the cutting and proving each guests with a slice of the delicious cake.

"Man, you look like an idiot right now." Eddie teased as he handed his brother and new sister a plate of cake.

Yongsun just giggled while Eric glared at his brother who left them in piece to eat the cake.

Minutes later, the bride and groom had their first dance with Eric shyly holding on to his bride and about an hour or so, after a talk with the Kim matriarch, Joo took the podium one more time and announced the end of the night - but not without the bride having to toss her bouquet, ofcourse.

"Now, may we have the lovely Mrs. Nam Yongsun with her bouquet at the center and the ladies right behind the line." He instructed and Yongsun got up to take her spot while ladies - including the devil's incarnate (Hyunyong) took their spot behind the said line.

"Move!" The incarnate pushed back one of the guests causing a domino effect with some of the guests falling to the floor.

"Woah. Everything okay there?" MC Joo asked checking the ladies.

"Yep! A-okay!" The girl who ended as the cushion, also known as Moon Byul, got up and gave the guy a salute and an obvious fake smile. She also noticed the worried look on her unnie's face and so she made subtle signs telling her she was okay and she'll just deal with it.

"Okay then. In the count of three our lovely bride will be tossing the bouquet. One... Two... Three!"

Yongsun took a deep breath and wish deeply for anyone else to catch the bouquet but not her cousin.

"IT'S MINE!"

She heard that familiar bratty scream and turned wishing her luck not to be passed on to someone so horrible. (Don't get her wrong. I mean, after all the sh*ts she's been through and had to put up with from this girl, she has every right - good or bad - to do so.)

"Woah! Will you look at that!" MC Joo clapped and so did the guest as the other girls made way for whoever caught the bouquet.

"Oh Yea!" Wheein cheered jumping like the hyper bunny she is while Hyejin grinned clapping ever so chic.

Yongsun craned her neck only to see her maid-of-honor holding the bouquet with such adorable buzzed confusion etched all over her face. Only when Byul met her eyes did she come to realization and finally a wide smile came from her lips as she jogged to give the bride a hug.

Joo then announce a couple more dances for everyone to enjoy before they leave for the night.

"Yah. I'm w-warning y-you. Don't you dare get married so early." She spoke half in half caressing the drunk girl's face who looked at her stunned. "W-wae? Are you sick? Wait, I think you might just need some rest. Y-you should s-stop drinking what-ever H-hyejinnie g-gives you." She pulled the girl to the side and had her sit down in one of the vacant chairs and got up to get a bottle of water when she heard the soft sound of sobbing and Byul's shoulder shaking.

"W-what's wrong? Why a-re you cry-ing?" She bent down and cupped the girls face.

"I... I forgot." Byul muttered in between sobs.

"Hmm? Fo-rgot what?"

The girl sniffed and wiped her tears before pulling Yongsun in a hug. "I forgot what your voice sounded like. I *sniff* miss it you know. Even Wheeinnie and Hyejinnie miss *sniff * it."

Yongsun bit her lip from the guilt.

"We know *sniff* it wasn't your fault but..." Byul pulled out and pouted at her. "I wish you didn't have to speak in front of him first."

Yongsun couldn't help but giggle and pat her friend's hair. "W-well talk about th-is la-ter, okay?"

Byul hummed nodding her head lazily before leaning on Yongsun. It didn't take a minute for the bride to realize that her friend had just fallen asleep on her and she couldn't help but keep her laugh to herself. She looked around for her husband but couldn't find him and when she saw Kyujong look their way, she silently waved towards him and he came without hesitation.

"Eoh? Byulyi's asleep?" He asked quietly so not to wake the girl. (Mind you, the music wasn't as loud as it may have been for the dancing.)

"N-neh. Ha-ve you seen my do-ngsae-ngs?" She asked.

Kyujong caught himself in a matter of seconds after the shock of hearing Yongsun speak. He then cleared his throat and excused himself as he went his way to look for the younger girls.

With Byul shifting, she also had to move a little to make the younger girl feel comfortable in her sleep. As she moved to her right, she frozed after spotting a couple of familiar figures from the side coming near her.

Six years and still her memories won't leave her in peace. She started panicking. Her heart racing and cold sweats are starting to form - she didn't know what to do.

Breath. Breath Yongsun.

"There she is." Eddie appeared from nowhere blocking the figues from her sight. "Hyung's been on the hunt for you." He said.

Though he stood there to cover her view, she is sure that those apparent figures behind him were the same figures that's keeping her mind from ever having peace.

"Ehem." A woman cleared her voice making Eddie turn around. "Leave. We need to talk to the bride."

Eddie was taken aback for the rudeness but after setting his eyes on a familiar female he so badly wanted to hurt earlier - not that he would ever hit or act violent towards anyone, paricularly women - and the resemblance of features did he understand who they were.

Well... Just for his own amusement, "Not to be rude or anything but who are you exactly?" He said crossing his arms, making himself bigger wanting to intimidate the three.

"We are the bride's parents. And you are?" Mrs. Shin raised her brow.

"I'm the bride's new brother." He answered cooly and Yongsun, though with her head turned away, felt her fears fray a little from the happiness he gave her. "From what I heard, my sister's parents passed years ago."

"Doesn't mean she can't have any other, does it?" Mr. Shin answered. "Now, move aside and let us talk to her."

The young Mr. Nam scoffed and smirked at the couple. "Yeah, I don't think that's ever going to happen."

"Excuse me?" Mr. Shin took a step forward trying to frigthen the young man only to take a step back when he saw that he was determined to stay where he must.

"Aren't you too old to ask permission to use the washroom?" Hyejin's snide made Yongsun bite her lip.

Knowing that harsher tone, she wondered just how many cocktails did the girl consume.

"Move." Said the chic auburn haired lady pushing aside Mrs. Shin and Hyunyoung making a path for her and Kyujong who couldn't help but glare at the youngling of the Shins.

That shut the family up for a moment.

"I'll take her." Kyujong took his jacket off and handed it to Hyejin then knelt and carefully tucked the girl in his arms. "Cover her legs." He told Hyejin and she did so then turned to the younger Nam and said, "Eric's by the door bidding the guests goodbye. Take her there." Then he turned to with a smile Yongsun before facing the Shin with a clear dislike and said, "Yongsun-ah, stay with Eddie, okay?"

She could only hum her answer and take the hand offered by her brother-in-law.

"You all have no sense of manners!" Mrs. Shin exclaimed only to be ignored .

"Come on, yeobo. Another time. Your mother is on her way." Mr. Shin said as he pulled his wife to one side upon sighting the old woman walking towards them.

"There she is!" Said one of the guests' who happened to be one of Mrs. Kim's business partners and also Yongsun's godfather. "You are beautiful, my dear." Said the middle age man, who, in his fashion and built seemed nowhere near the age of forty or fifty.

Yongsun's dread caused by the Shins immediately disappeared as she ran and hugged her godfather.

"Oho! Now you notice me?" The man said feigning.

They then talked for a while until the man had to say his goodbye as some of the guests were eager to express their blessings and good nights before they went off their ways. Saying goodbye to everybody took quite the time and about half an hour later, Eric and Yongsun were finally able to take their seats and rest before taking their own leave.

Eric rubbed his neck and stretched his body before taking a seat.

"Who knew -"

He hadn't the chance to finish his sentence when a squeal followed by a mischievous laughter echoed to the supposed empty hall.

"Wheein." Yongsun said getting up and almost tripping herself.

"Woah there. Stay here. I'll go check- oh. And here they are." Eric said holding his wife in balance as they watched a squealing girl run in to the hall and stopped to look for someone before running straight into Yongsun's arm.

"Unnnnieeee!" The girl squeaked hiding her face in her hands with Yongsun's embrace.

She was about to ask the girl a question when the silence in the hall is penetrated once more by the laughter of the maknae who came in from the opposite room and behind her came Eddie with a horrified look on his face.

"What's going on here?" Eric asked making the hysterical Hyejin and his younger brother to sit while Yongsun did the same to Wheein.

"Ed what happened??"

"I-I..." The younger Nam mumbled and looked at him with his rounded eyes and pale face. "T-they...U-uhmm... Ai...N-noona and h-hyung..." He looked up at him again and swallowed hard.

"Noona? Hyung? Ailee and James?" Eddie nodded his head at the simple mention of the names. "What happened then? Are they in trouble? Do they need any help?"

This time, his brother made no response only mumbled some unaudible words as he gazed through the air.

Finding no help from his brother he turned to the laughing girl. "Hyejin. Hyejin. Please stop laughing for one minute and tell us what happened?"

"I...I... I ca-can't!" Hyejin waved her hands then clamped her stomach as she laughed on.

Eric sighed and turned to Yongsun with an inquiring look only to be answered with a shake of her head.

"I'll go check what's going on." He said and got up but Eddie was quick to pull him back. "Yah! What- Ailee? James?"

The said couple walked in cautiously.

"Hey. Did something happen? This three are acting strange." He asked.

Ailee avoided his eyes turning it towards her boyrfriend instead who in turn, avoided Eric's eyes by looking up.

"Okay?.. Why are you blushing? What is going on..." Then it hit him and he turned to look at Eddie. The pale face, wide eyes, and just that pure horrified look on his face. "OH MY GOD! NO!"
